Grineer Kogake which will have unique sound? Sure! Daggers? Sure! Gram with explosive charge? Sure! Weapon from War Craft 3? Sure! Infinitely awesome space katana in game about ninjas? F*** no, are you damn crazy!?" I wanted to get this katana, forma it up 6 times and be cool. But they killed it. Well, who cares!? I gonna play some starbound, left 4 dead, hellgate and battlefield. Maybe they will add katana in 2015, but till this time - I don't care. 5/7 concepts suck, in my opinion they destroyed such a good melee weapon, with 1000 bumps. Such a loss. This is mofoing SPHESS, and Ninjas in sphess!! the design of this blade is clearly Katana or the likes, but as someone mentioned it has a damn heated edge or monofiliment.. so whether the enemy is wearing hardened leather as armor, or heavy &#! duty Ferrite armor, wont matter at all.. the edge of the weapon will tear clean through Grineer or Corpus alike!! I love this design!! because, yes i love those curved blades made of Japanese steel!! cause its iconic and awesome!!! I do not care if or how it will work, cause frankly IT WILL!! Only your imagination sets the bar here!! I would love this, a more "traditional" looking blade!! with scabbard and all!! would be amazing in anyway!!! also: would love a Kusarigama.. Drawing the sword for strikes could be within the current movement set. Using the sheathe with the katana out and equipped, could be a dual wield stance. The parry could be performed using the sheathe as a way to block then counter with the blade. Soooo many possibilities. But I'm just a Tenno. Not a programmer. As nice as a Katana/Wakazashi dual wield weapon is, it would not be the same as a Katana/scabbard combo, they would have an entirely different feel and different animations. Hasn't this been beaten to death already? I think it was with a sliced up saya that someone tried to use to parry katana strikes. Nice necro.
