New Grineer Sniper Rifle

I have an idea for new sniper.

Its a protable 20mm or 37mm tank gun. It deals 75 impact, 40 puncture, 10 slash and 200 blast damage with 2m range of blast. If you apply punch through you deal phisical damage to every enemy but blast only on the point when the punch through ends. The magazine size is only 1 like in Vectis but reload is 3s ant it takes ammo from sniper ammo pool. Status chance is 0% and critic is 30%. Critical damage is 1.8x. Tell me what you think about this.

Lower the crit! about 10% would be better.

This sounds awesome. I've seen many animes where you see this one character holding this massive f*** off cannon. When they fire theres just this ear shattering BANG, and then an explosion somewhere. I'd love to see a weapon like this. It would break the general convention of weaponry use, and would just... look awesome.

Perhaps this could start some sort of new wave of "Specialised Weaponry". These weapons have certain requirements, like this one, you can't have melee, as the weight of the cannon would be far to high for you to even be able to. Obviously you're slowed down, and swapping weapons would be slightly slower, but the trade off is an amazingly powerful, long range, badass looking sniper/cannon.

Again, I'd love to see weapons like this which break standard gameplay into something completely new.

Tenno don't carry massive weapons... Everything they hold is something in the normal handheld region. Like Ogris, and Supra... Even Gorgon.

Which is the exact reason why this idea is flawed.

There's nothing wrong with that. Your saying that Warframe is much more realistic than animes then? I think not. Read the rest of it. The specialist type weapon would be what would balance it

Again, please read the entire text. It would create a new weapon type being a "Specialist" weapon, and would be a more... unconventional way of fighting for the Tenno

My idea is to do equal phisical and damage. And I think it would be rank 6 or 7 to Grineer reasearch in clan dojo because there are only 2 weapons there, Ignis and Orgis.

For it to be clan tech there will also need to be a mob that uses it. have you given that much thought?

It can be used by Ballista on higher levels like Lancer useing Gratka byt Elite Lancer uses Karak or Hind.

Only if the Ballista goes flying backwards when firing it, possibly killing herself and any allies in her flightpath - or you, if you're unlucky enough to be there.

Melee weapon or not they carry the Galatine and it is freaking huge.

Anyways support for hitscan cannons.
