Because the spread without it is massive, and it takes 2 sec for the tentacles to converge into the deathray. Adding tainted shell at least reduces the spread for the first couple of seconds. GrosslyIncandescent1709 Posted February 9, 2014 Share Posted February 9, 2014 Even Accelerated Blast works on the gun, it's pretty sweet to have punture for Ancient Healers and Grineer in general.
