I spent months of playing and saving fusion cores to be able to max just 1 corrupted mod, and then this wonderful compensation for getting a lvl 6 steel charge happened. Seriously? They laugh at my months worth of effort of gathering all the cores and credits by simply giving out legendary cores as compensations for those that were lucky enough to exploit this "event" within a day? Seriously? What's the point of trying anymore when hard work doesn't pay off as well as exploits do? I am going to outright say I am going to quit if they don't do a rollback. Something tells me the "2 cores per Steel Charge" is a bug, because that is...just wow. They won't because a mod already told us it was per SC card before the patch went live. Those people are basically set for the lifetime of the game. I mean seriously, being able to max out 10+ mods instantaneously with no credit cost or anything? It's crazy. They had a live stream and talked about how steel charge gave so many more points and never once mention it was a bug. They just figured now that there were balancing issues with it so changed it back. Its wasn't a one day bug. Steel charge was able to be ranked higher then 5 for quiet some time now. There needed to be compensation for those people who poured so many cores/mods into fusing it higher then 5. Legendary cores might be a little extreme but there did need to be something. I think many people just have a bad taste in their mouth because DE has been talking about trying to be more fair and open with the community for a long time now, but then willingly allows for a window of opportunity to exploit the system by not setting the cutoff for legendary core compensation to be the time of the announcement. OniDax Posted February 20, 2014 Share Posted February 20, 2014 I ranked up one steel charge to lvl 6 without exploiting anything. You put work into ranking up your mods? Well, other put work into ranking theirs up beyond 5. They were compensated because of that. That said, there probably should have been some scaling such that if you were at lvl 6 you didn't get 2. I got my 2 and was like oh that's cool, in about a week no one will remember this so I might as well save it for the next rank 10 rare mod that comes out. I am not going to stand for this! I gave them my love and my devotion, and then they threw it on the floor, stomp on it, swallow it, and they spit it out. Do you really expect me to accept that? Is it okay to just say " hey, let's just everyone 2 legendary cores for every rank 6 steel charge" without giving it much thought? IS IT FAIR?!
