Constructed from vocal organ of infested chargers and organic muscle fibers, the Laryx is a spin on the classical bow. The arrows consist of the toxic spine bundles made from Phorid. Handling Mechanics Similar to other bows, charging is done by holding and releasing the trigger button. However, the arrow consists of a compound that is use to cause instant arrow dispersal into small spines. Pressing the trigger again will cause this compound to active, 3 spines launching at roughly a 45 degree angle of one another. - Multishot will add an additional spine for each arrow, resulting in 4 arrows in a 30 degree angle of each other. The two arrow head spines are more arrow, resulting in a 20 degree dispersal angle between the central spines. - Thunderbolt only works on the arrow prior to spine dispersal. Two Arrows do not dispel from the quiver. [EDIT] Thunderbolt works on the arrow AND the arrow head/spine . The other two are not affected as such. Multishot affects this, causing the two arrow head/spines to have the potential to detonate. - Each arrow will have a fraction of the initial arrow's damage but critical chance, critical damage, and status change will remain the same amongst the spines. - The air time will not be extended when the spines are released. - Each spine is affected by punch through Stats Physical: None Elemental: 100/200 Toxic damage Accuracy: 16.7 RoF: 0.5 Crit Chance: 35% Crit Damage: 2.0x Proc: 35% Mag:1 Reload: 0.7 Trigger: 1.5s Summary: A lower critical chance for a bow but a much higher proc rate. Trigger rate is slowed. Appearance Upon charging, several fibers tighten, pulling in attachments I really like the infested faction and every infested weapon that has been introduced to the game (even you mire). How about this though, the arrow split happens as it hits the first target, so as it penetrates it shoots off it's spines at other targets.
