If Aliens Picked Up Random Earth Radio Channels, Movies, Shows, Etc. What Do You Think They Would Pick Up?

Our sound waves travel in space, and for a fact, hitlers speech is still traveling in space, right now it is 3 stars away from us (yes it left 2 solar systems and is in the middle of the 3rd), and what do YOU think they will pick up? be it a music video, a picture, a gif, a movie, whatever.

This. Nothing we send out in mainstream media is powerful enough to be heard by anybody around another star. Heck, in order to hear our own space probes with their tightly focused and efficient transmitters, even within our own back yard we have to physically orient our building-sized receiving dishes in just the right position to line up with the probe's position. Our ground based mainstream telecommunications are optimized for coverage, not range, and our satellite telecommunications are necessarily pointed down at the ground.

So, sorry, but while the premise of Contact is very entertaining it's just not realistic. Unfocused emissions don't travel any useful distance unless they are insanely powerful (stars, supernovae, black holes, etc), and focused emissions have to be pointed at a receiver. Which is what SETI would be doing: zapping high energy tightly focused radio pulses at nearby star systems, essentially waving a flashlight across a dark valley to see if anybody waves their flashlight back.

actually there is one thing we have done that might be detectable by aliens with hyper sensitive instruments if they happened to be looking in the right place at the right time....   atomic weapon tests.
