Mortos and Gaia rose to their feet in synchronism and both looked to Cardina. Gaia was the one to speak, however as she replied, "Thank you, Cardina, for attending to the visitors. Please, bring them here."

"Right away, your Divinities. I will return shortly." Cardina bowed and exited, and soon was before Leo's group again.

"The Divinities will see you now, thank you for your patience." She gestured them to follow her. Cardina walked with her hands behind her back, at a slow, regal pace, as they entered the main corridor again and headed towards the meditation hall.

"How did you like the Garden?" she asked over her shoulder. "Did you hear the trees murmur to one another?"

A long yawn filled the main cockpit of a small, one man Tenno transport drifting in the endlessness of space. Inside was an Ash, laying back on the seat. The ship was set to auto-pilot towards the location given by the rather strange broadcast that came through the Tenno's HUD.

Stretching his arms before pulling the seat upright, the Ash motions over to a nearby terminal, hoping to get in contact with this so called "Ascension" before reaching his destination.

As Cardina was busy escorting the visitors to see the Divinities in the meditation hall, another of the Tenno aboard the Orokin Derelict answered instead. The request for communication was accepted and coming up on the screen was an Ember Prime. "Greetings, honourable Tenno."

"Well, we did hear something but it wasn't quite as audible than what you may hear" Replied Leo as the Trio followed her to see these divines, Corvo still looked Sceptical

The lights were off in the ship, save for the glowing screen and some buttons, so the background was dark. The Ash made a small smirk behind helmet. He makes a small bow before crossing his arms.

"Greetings, Tenno. This Ascension your people speak of. It interest me." The Ash had somewhat of a Japanese accent.

His ship was now in close proximity of his destination, and came to a stop. An Orokin Derelict base. Somewhat surprised of the choice.

"I request permission to board."

"Permission granted. If you wish to join and recieve enlightenment, the Church of Ascension will welcome you." Another hangar was available for use as the Shark was occupying one already and the location of the second hangar was sent to the incoming vessel so the pilot would know just where to dock.

The Ash turns off the terminal as he deactivates auto-piloting. With that gone, he carefully  flies the ship into the available hanger. As it slowly flies into the hanger, it opens it's landing gear, and slowly descends to a landing. With the ship now landed, a small opening below the ship opens up and the Tenno hops on down to the hanger floor. His warframe was pitch black with a dark shade of grey and dark blue. On his hip was a black nikana and two Vastos revolvers. Lastly hanging on his back was a Paris Prime, black, gold, and some purple lighting.

The Ember Prime who had answered earlier came walking into the hangar area, leaving the other Tenno in the area to continue their repair work. She bowed in greeting before the Ash before straightening back up. "Welcome to the home of the Church of Ascension. Please excuse the state of our home as repair work is still under way."

The Ash bows in return to the Prime before surveying the rest of the hanger. It reminds him of the many missions he and few other Tenno had undertaken in an Orokin Derelict ship. Keeping a hand on the handle of his blade, he eyes the Ember Prime from top to bottom. He had fought alongside many primes, but had never gotten a chance to actually look at one.

"A Prime here to greet me. I do not know wether I should feel honored or worried."

Leo, Corvo and Cross follow on and look before the devinites, "A Nekros and a Trinity?" Asked Corvo.

"Yes, the Divinities have chosen to keep the forms they held before their Ascension to godhood." Cardina bowed to the Nekros. "Behold the Father, Mortos, embodying death, darkness and entropy." She turned to bow to the Trinity. "Behold the Mother, Gaia, embodying life, light and growth."

Cardina turned to the Shark's Tenno with her arms at her sides, turning her palms forward. "If it pleases them, they may speak with you. If not, I will address your concerns in their stead."

Leo nods "We'll be happy to speak with them" and The Trio approach the Two Devinites "Gaia, Mortos, Thank you for letting us speak with you, we have many questions involving your Origins and your goals in this...derelict ship that you own"

"There is no need to be worried." Noticing his hand on the handle of his Nikana, the Ember Prime added, "There is no danger here, my Tenno brother. The Infestation does not plague this holy place and it is a safe haven for our kind."

Gaia responded, "You are welcome, my brothers. This holy place is but the humble beginning for the Church of Ascension." As she spoke, she put her hands together as though she was about to pray. Her voice had a certain soothing warmth to it like a loving mother welcoming her children back home.

Mortos spoke next, his voice cold and betraying no emotion. "We awoke from the dark veil of cryosleep long ago, my sister and I rising from our pods to find the world around us changed for the worse and our noble race made nothing more than mercenaries fighting each other almost as much as our enemies."

Mortos replied in the same cold tone as before, "At first glance, nothing differentiates us from our brothers and sisters. However, ascension has brought us gifted us not only with power that we may lead our kin but wisdom that we may do what we can to avert the disaster we have foreseen."

The Ash stood there, silent for a moment before releasing his grip on the handle.

"If what you say is true... Tell me, what is to be done next now that I am here. But before that, why don't we introduce ourselves, no?"

He bows again. "My name is Shinkiro."

"My, isn't that such a charming name. Anyway, is there any assistance need in these repairs you say. I am willing to provide any materials I've collected during my travels."

He points a thumb at his transport.

"Alloy, rubedo, gallium, anything I could provide."

"Thank you. The church is in need of many resources but especially Morphics and Alloy Plates. Control Modules and Circuits would be greatly appreciated for repairing electronic systems in several rooms. Would you happen to be donating out of kindness? I would hope so as there is little we have and we rely on donations to advance our work."

"How did you achieve such positive qualities? Was it though technology or something more unknown?" Asked Cross, inquisitively

Gaia answered partly, "There is energy all around us but especially so in the Void. Great care is needed as the energies of the Void can easily overtake those who are ill-prepared and warp them both mentally and physically."

Mortos finished by adding, "Through training both the body and mind, one may expose themselves to the Void for short periods at a time without suffering."

Cardina was slightly offended that those not yet trusted by the Church were being given such knowledge, while it had taken her months to be gifted the same enlightenment.

"Their godhood was a result of becoming one with the primal concepts of life and death. It's what most every member of the Church aims for, to be one with one force or the other."

"Hmm." Shinkiro walks back into his ship. About a minute later, he would return with a datapad in his hand.

"I do not have much morphics, but plenty of everything else. Especially alloy and circuits." He hands her the datapad. Behind him, containers of orokin origin began floating down from the ship, and landing alongside each other.

"As for donating. Since you asked so kindly and have quite an adorable voice, I'll happily give to you free of charge."

Mortos then added, "That is as much as should be revealed and more, considering that you are outsiders."

Gaia spoke next. "We really would like to trust those outside of the church but circumstances have shown that even some of our fellow Tenno have been led astray and are no longer trustworthy."

((I think I messed up on that one. I was trying to have them give one of those answers that aren't really answers because they leave certain things out, making them too vague to be done. I get the feeling I'm not doing a good job at this.))

"That's right," Cardina said a bit too quickly. "We have learned so much in our pursuit of perfect balance, and we do guard that enlightenment. But we gladly share it with those who show dedication."

She stepped next to Cross, feeling his interest in the secret knowledge she spoke of. "The Lotus does not tell you everything. You know that. Does it not concern you that when she tells you not to search, saying the information would not aid your cause, you find nothing but details of your past? What organization thrives on the ignorance of its members?"

Cardina strode behind Corvo, sensing his palpable doubt. "How can matter and energy be all there is to reality? How could there not be Gods? We Tenno draw our power from outside this universe, from the Void. There is certainly more than mere fuel in that half-known hellspace."

Finally she stood in front of Leo. "You are a leader, Leo. A wise follower listens to their leader, but so too does a wise follower question them. You, are both. It is your duty to both lead without doubt, and ask without reservation. Has it occurred to you that the Lotus doesn't seek real balance? Whoever wins this war, there will be chaos and death in abundance. True, death is inevitable; but do you think she holds any interest in balancing that with order and life?"

Cardina's words were carefully selected, with an unusual persuasiveness behind them.

((You're fine, Sumika. I'm just characterizing Cardina))
