If the chatbox was minimized on startup, it would be less of a problem, or if we had a choice of default chat (clan/alliance/squad, etc). Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

EDIT: It may also deter the new playerbase from continuing Warframe, as Region chat is generally an immature environment. Ailith Posted July 18, 2014 Share Posted July 18, 2014 (edited) I don't mind chat, but I'd prefer to not have a bunch of text automatically appearing on my screen, it's pretty distracting. :\ Luckily, I can go to my Clan or Alliance tab, since I'm the only one in those. For example, if you had it minimized or Clan channel when you logged out, it will automatically apply the same setting next time you log on. Right now I have to minimize chat window by accessing the menus (either Esc or use ship functions), but you can't do that while in ship walking. It's bad.
