Returning Player, Whats New?

Hey guys, old warframe player here and was thinking about reinstalling the game and seeing what has changed. Haven't played since the Stalker items were introduced to give you an idea :). Was wondering and looking for a general "State of the game" if you will.

A lot has changed, we have dog companions now, quest system, valkyr, hydroid, zephyr, loki prime, rhino's codpiece prime.

 

New UI and weapons.

 

Also volt is a starter again.

More like what hasn't changed. The game has had a complete makeover pretty much, especially if you haven't played since the Stalker dropping loot.

Arcane Helmets!

 

Do Not! Ever! Part ways with any of the old ('arcane') helmets/blueprints...

Unfortunately that's a whole lot of info required. Therefore, as a start, I recommend checking a few of these subjects in the wiki:

- Damage 2.0

- Melee 2.0

- Warframes (look at the new ones as well as currently owned ones by you to see changes in powers)

- Orokin Derelict

- Orokin Void (and its drops, more specifically Prime weapons)

- Survival (mission type)

- Interception (mission type)

- Earth, Jupiter and Ceres (they have a new tileset to check out)

- Quest system (I recommend doing the prologue as you start the game)

- Kubrows

Is the frost prime avatar rare or something? o_o If so awesome and thanks for appreciating my avatar! :D I really did like it when I got it, I also have all the stalker weapons..still use them. Idk about now but at least before they where fairly badass and effective. Also it seems like a lot has changed. What would you guys suggest for me to get started at? 

 

It all seems a little overwhelming. That said, you guys had me at "Melee system revamp with combos" since i am "that guy" who says screw shooting, i'mma run around and chop everyone up :D

Well that makes me sad. Like the time they took my infinite jump, slide surfing out (Granted it was a good change, but I remember missing it.) But hey. at least we're still ninjas >/. In my case a Stalker fanboy who uses his armor colors and his weapons.

How do you go about getting orthos prime? o_o I remember i have a slew of melee weapons but I don't remember what they all are lol. However, I do remember using Hate a lot. I love scythes.  (That said, Orthos does look nice.)
