Question

How is the easyest way to get it ,and is it useful at all ?

Will their ever be another warframe Immortal skin in a mod , who knows that is why I'd like to talk about it!

(edit :more info to clear things up)

I just wanted to talk about Life Strike and the fact their is a Immortal skined warframe on said mod and if there will be any new mods with an Immortal warframe on them

Life Strike is obtained from Dark Sector Defense, Dark Sector Survival or transmutation.

Yes is it very useful on melee weapons that do high damage. Do not rank it up. 5% of 2000dmg from a proper slash attack is 100 health/hp. Works really good with Loki/Ash while invisible.

Works great with Glaive since you can throw it while channeling thereby stealing health from a distance.

Ahh yes, the squishy warframes talking about health.

C'mon fellow Rhinos, away!!!

/joke

I could see Life Strike be useful on a build that favored health over shields (eg. 200 shields, 900 health), but health goes down VERY quickly in Warframe. Is it truly useful on frames with low health pools? Loki, being a king of melee, may not find it as useful simply because the player may die before anything occurs.

It could work on squishier Warframes, but Life Strike will likely have to be maxed. The warframe in question will also likely have to build upon its abilities (rather than other aspects like speed or damage) as the squishies will need to counter balance a huge amount if damage from running melee only/melee favored.

Just speculation from a Rhino player looking inwards.

health goes down slower than shields, because it has armor applied before the damage. Especially on Valkyr, she can have 2k+ armor with steel fiber and warcry.

Loki can go invisible, and then never get detected (if being smart), and also has a 4x melee multiplier while invisible, so he doesn't go down before

Life strike doesn't worth maxing, it makes channeling too costly. At rank 0 you still gain up to a few hundred health while channeling, depending on other circumstances, but still can utilize channeling to take down a heavy unit quickly - focus energy negates the efficiency penalty if you leave LS at rank 0

Counter to this, if you are in a high level mission, and rely on Life Strike and Rage to survive, maxing it is actually beneficial as it increases the upper limit on healing rate. Also, increased rank decreases energy cost/health, so if you are selectively channeling, max rank is more efficient overall. It is entirely down to preference and playstyle.
