Wow wonder when that happened, last time I looked into multi-shot on shotguns 100% equaled 1 extra pellet regardless of shotgun. If the wiki is right, shotguns are not such slouches as I once thought. Hek's scatter pattern I bet is altered behind the scenes to spray in every direction. I doubt you will be able to take a Hek into Tier 4 and 1 shot level 100's because if so that is the winner mod of endgame easy mode button.
