(XBOX)ShapelessHorr0r
It's too easy for me to simply roll-jump over to someone, knock them down with a ground smash, and proceed to destroy them while they're on the ground. On the same token, once someone melees you, you're essentially forced into melee combat unless you wish to be staggered until you die. Thoughts? KirukaChan
No. Guns have enough advantages over melee as it is. If not for knockdown/stagger, I would literally never use my melee weapon except to smash containers.
ClockworkSpectre
If you are talking about dark sectors PvP then I think I may agree with the OP. In PvE, then no.
Cat_Jam
In PvP- yes, all of the yes. In PvE- nope.avi

To OP: I agree that the knockdowns and stuns are annoying but they aren't bad once you get use to them. Just roll if you see a slide (have no idea if rolls work on slams) coming because it will reduce a ton of damage and completely ignore stuns. I honestly wouldn't be sad if knockdowns and stuns got removed from PvP though. Edited November 2, 2014 by Rakshal

(PSN)Alphapsykongaroo
spam the roll button when you get caught in a stunlock to escape. then copter away or counter. rolls can also protect you from knockdowns if timed right.
