Aspect Ratio: 5:4

Any other Aspect Ratio in the game looks wonky, doesn't use my screen space efficiently, or is too wide. Can we perhaps add a 5:4 Aspect Ratio for those with 1280x1024 setups?

I've... never heard of any monitor or TV with a physical ratio of 5:4... that is probably pretty rare, given how 16:9 and 16:10 seems to be the standard format for monitors and TVs nowadays.

 

4:3 used to be the standard before the "Widescreen Craze" hit back about... 6? 8? years ago.

 

But I can truthfully say, I have NEVER heard of 5:4. Ever.

I used to own a old crt with 1280x1024 resolution but i always played in 1024x768, that looked fine for me at the time.

Up until about a year ago I had been using a 5:4 monitor for around 6 years. It was always a pain since most games and other programs didn't support that format. Every day I'd think "Who the heck thought this was a good idea?"

 

To OP. I agree, they should add support for 5:4 for those with "rare" monitors.
