Trying just a PIECE of the stuff is...well, let me tell you all a story.

I once had a friend. He had a nipple piercing. He decided to rip it out one day because he's stupid.

 

He tore it out with grace. But, hanging out of the bleeding hole was a small, white thread of...something. Nipple flesh?

 

Because he's REALLY stupid, he decided to snip it off with safety scissors.

 

The second he snipped, his face turned white, he crapped his pants, and fainted.

 

Imagine pain enough to make that happen, happening in your mouth. Not pleasant.
