Renegade343 Posted March 19, 2015 Share Posted March 19, 2015 So, there is an idiom that refers to a very boring event as "like watching paint dry.". Having nothing to do, I decided to see if that idiom would be true for me. And so, I went out, brought a small bucket of paint and a paintbrush, then painted a small section of a wall (which is my wall). Then, I got a chair, sat down, and stared at it as it dried. The result? It turned out to be a bit amusing, once I started mentally dividing the painted area into small sections, made a bet as to which section would dry the quickest, and ran my own internal commentary of the status of the paint drying. So, at least for me, watching paint dry may not be boring. But anyways, the wall needed a fresh coat of paint, so it was alright. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
