i guess it could do with a 2.0 but its not really ground braking atm

this is quite a uncommon occurrence! so its not really ground braking...

it would be ground braking if all enemys spawning were doing this and acted like total derps! but for now, not really that bad of a issue

Pathing isn't really an AI issue whatsoever. In fact, changing AI in any way wouldn't really be noticeable due to the average lifespan of an enemy. If you're taking long enough where a group of enemies can regroup and use some form of tactics on you, you're doing something wrong.

In no scenario will changing enemy AI cause them to be a match for superhuman space ninjas. They will never move that fast, have that level of firepower or have any equivalence to warframe powers.

Warframe needs a "big" AI. Units are slaughtered too fast for there to be any purpose in giving them any dynamic AI (a few touches here and there would be nice, but it wont help stop the Warframe steamroll), what is needed is for a separate AI to organize these mobs. Just think about the last time you died in Warframe, was it due to some units facing you head on? Or was it a unit that sneaked spawned behind you without noticing? This "big" AI could be the entity responsible for what units spawn where in maps. For example, you are in a Survival and the "big" AI picks up on a pattern of the Warframes camping in a certain corridor and mutilating everything thrown at them. This "big" AI would then possible send in a large horde of trash mobs through the expected spawn area but then spawn a small group of elite mobs on some flank. Of course it would still be easy to take out that "elite" group, but that is only if you notice. And remember, this "big" AI only really needs successful in taking out a Tenno one out of every twenty times for it to be "successful". And because there is only one complex AI being processed, the computer resources necessary would not be very high.
