MajorHayes
Within a few minutes of Warframe starting, I get the error "Display driver stopped responding and has restarted". When this happens, Warframe's video output freezes, but audio still works as does user input (I can hear my character shooting, melee, etc., the game is still running). This happens in fullscreen, fullscreen windowed, and windowed. It started a few weeks ago but I don't know exactly when. There are times that it works fine but I haven't been able to figure that out either. During the game, CPU usage is fairly low (30%), CPU usage is around 60%, temps are fine. I've installed all drivers from 14.04, 14.14, and 15.5 beta.
5h1n0k4m1
do you happen to over-clock your gpu ?
MajorHayes
I do not, but the model I have does have a slightly higher default clock than the standard 280X. I have nearly 700 hours in game in Warframe with this same PC, and the crashes didn't start until recently. I tried turning off DirectX 10/11, multi-threaded rendering, 64-bit mode, and vsync. None of those had any effect.
Pythadragon
Could be a faulty gpu. My Nvidia gtx 660 was fine for 2 years, then started giving those errors rarely, then with gradually increasing frequency over 0.5 years.... Towards the end, corrupt artifacts started appearing. I opened up my case and did a thorough inspection and noticed a blackish discoloration on the PCB (possible burn). One RMA later and I am problem free for 0.5 years since
[DE]Linkski
It looks like you are getting the Nvidia TDR crash that has become more rampant as of late. See: https://forums.warframe.com/index.php?/topic/445599-game-crashes-nvidia-display-driver-april-2015/?p=5226058 Unfortunately I do not have any information on a fix at this time however that thread may provide you with a temporary workaround. Since you appear to be running at ~80FPS at the login screen my first suggestion would be to enable v-sync.

DE_Dmitri, Please note that OP is using AMD drivers, as shown in the picture in the first post and as seen in the driver version numbers OP has tried. Reithan.PC
I had this a lot on my AMD card. Disabling Runtime Tesselation COMPLETELY eliminated the problem for me. Edited June 24, 2015 by bo122081

Is Warframe the only game that you experience this problem with? Edit: You may also want to look over these suggestions and see if any of them apply to you. http://support.amd.com/en-us/kb-articles/Pages/737-27116RadeonSeries-ATIKMDAGhasstoppedrespondingerrormessages.aspx Edited June 25, 2015 by DE_Dmitri
EagleHawkz25
I have exact same problem with OP, its frustating the game freeze just anywhere, when doing missions, modding, or just customizing my warframe even when i am just standing in my liset. Screen freeze but i can still hear the sound of my gun shooting, the game still running but i cant do anything because the screen just stop. This started a few weeks ago and I have tried using 3 versions of AMD driver ( 15.4 , 15.5 and 14.12) but it doesnt help. BTW yesterday i fixed it by turning the V sync to "auto" instead of off or on and my game strangely working fine since then. Try using dx 9 dx 10 or disabling tesselation doesnt help for me. I dont think this is driver or faulty card problem.
Alex9-3-9
Ever since I got an new AMD gpu I`ve been getting this exact same thing in a lot of games. At least its just a DX11 driver issue that AMD needs to sort out.
FierceRadiance
I was going to post this as a joke, but maybe it's not. Did OP recently install Arkham Knight on his machine?
