LeshJaeThiHah
emm... when DE released Ceres tileset (grineer shipyards) i couldn't play due constant crashing. by making a clean install without steam actually solved crashing problem. since then i run this game without steam support. rechot
steam does hinder gameplay FOR ME. Case for you could be different. Steam caused crashing, fps drop, and updates would fail without reason for me. Is warframe running badly for you?
Ninjamander
Do it mean removing this check mark would cause the game to behave like the stock one?
LeshJaeThiHah
Do it mean removing this check mark would cause the game to behave like the stock one? not really. you just remove overlay. as support told me, builds are different.

Marthrym
If your rig isn't decent, it might. But then again, Steam does impact several games in a rather negative way no matter what unfortunately...^^'
Stratego89
Steam makes everything run slower than standalone. If you go into "friends" and set yourself to offline- and/or disable steam overlay in game- it seems to help with performance sometimes.

thecolin-
I've had so many people tell me that. They used steam for a long time and then they got rid of it and they all saw the performance boost. I am more or so curious about having both of them at once. Because I like my overlay and I wanna have it without steam anyway.
