This is technically not feedback, but I'm posting it here as a reference, so people in this subforum can lead an informed discussion on the melee damage changes. I know this would usually go to Players helping Players, but I'd be glad if the moderators could let it stay here where it is relevant.

 

Also, if you guys want to provide feedback, there's already a thread for that.

 

Note that I don't own every single melee weapon, but most of them should be listed.

Thanks for this info! 

 

Looks like all the popular weapons (and their families) got a nerf, while those really unpopular ones (e.g. Ripkas, Fang) remain untouched. DE probably don't have data on how they perform.

I actually wrote it down in a CSV format, same as when I did for Marrt's hits-to-kill table.

jaw sword had different damage values before the nerf, which are not identical to the jat kittag.

 

You're right, it was a Slash-based weapon before as well. Looks like that slipped past me when I created the original CSV, so I'm afraid I can't correct it anymore. But iirc, it was very similar to the Cronus/Pangolin Sword in total damage (~55), as it has the same attack speed of 0.917. Gonna remove the values from 17.3 so it won't cause any confusion. Anyway, thanks for the heads-up!
