I wouldn't know. The sheer force sounds pretty equal, but I'd say the Republic have [much] more intelligence, and they'd outsmart the Grineer easily.

Now another one:

All of them vs 4 super decked out Tenno

That one tenno whos new to the game and walks and attacks slowly shall die first

Definitely the star wars clones (they already work from superior genetic code)

more firepower in star destroyer

republic ships are more protected than the glorified grineer space segways.

Do Galleons even have many guns on them? There's one tile where there's a big cannon, but that's just one tile. Meanwhile the Republic Star Destroyers are named that for a reason.

Well there are cannons in those Galleon tiles like you said. They would always be shooting at nothing though lel.

Dude.... The Galleon is like an ant compared to the Star Destroyer!

except if all of the Grineer are [9999], then they'll win

The size difference didnt look too much apart to me, but what do I know I got asian eyes. ~_~

1 Darth Vader = Grineer lose.

True but wrong Era :P

I think the republic would win but it would be a sour win.

in my mind the galleon would have most likely gunned down nearly all of the clone fighters and bombers by the end.

the grineer would have launched their boarding party's into the venator  and would have been defeated after the grineer lost the whole boarding party and the clones lost about 100 of their men.

the inside of the venator would have been torn to S#&$ at this point. fires would be burning holes would have been blown in walls and an engine ractor may have been destroyed as well.

then as both sides have little to no fighters left the galleon would realize it was loosing against the star destroyer and would ram it as it explodes.

the end would be a republic win but their ship would have a gaping hole in it from the ram and 100s of clones would be dead.

One big problem i see here with comparing these two ships.

The space ships in Star Wars are very well detailed, with lineart, numbers and interior views. Not only that but most of the common technologies in Star Wars are relative explained, hence we know limits and potential of it.

From these source materials we know how big a Star Destroyer or Republic warship is. We know how many fighters they carry, how much crew and infantry they have on board and how many weapons they have.

The space ships in Warframe are basicly all over the place with no official lineart, no official numbers and a totaly UNKNOWN interior, because the game randomizes the levels even on space ships.

If you run through a Galleon you might occasionaly have 3 massive cannon rooms after another or you don't see any at all. Sometimes you can also have a u-turn in a Corpus ship with the windows to the outside not actualy showing the other part of the U.

That means we have NOTHING to base any speculations about the potential of the Galleons on.

The same goes for the infantry units.

In Warframe enemies are dumber than a sack of hammers and it depends on their level how much damage they can actualy take. They also display no sense of tactics or even ranking. Enemies just rush at you in all kind of combinations. No NCOs leading squads, no COs giving orders over loudspeakers and no sense of squad setups.

Which means we can actualy NOT use the game as a basis to judge how good or bad the Grineer are actualy in combat.

We only have the trailers for that and in those they are all killed by a single shot, including from weapons like the humble Braton. They also once again just rush the Tenno like idiots with no sense of being organized in any way.

So can a blaster rifle kill a Grineer in one shot? Or would they take a dozen plasma bolts before even a humble Lancer would go down? Do Grineer actualy make tactical decessions or do they just run into blaster fire all the time? We DON'T know.

Meanwhile there is a ton of source material for Clone and Storm Trooper which can balance out their not so splendind portrail in the movies and cartoons.

Actualy Clone Wars even gives the Clone Troopers some credit occasionaly.

Though that brings me to a general problem with vs. threads like these. These are entirely different fictional universes with different technological limitations we are comparing here.

The limits and potential of the technologies between these two universes are too different.

For example. In Star Wars almost every ship can cruise around half the galaxy in days or weeks. In Warframe space ships can't even leave the old Sol System.

Meanwhile Grineer use kinetic weapons which seem to have compressed space (pocket dimensions) for their magazines, have access to teleportation technology and make liberal use of cybernetics.

Which puts technology in Star Wars to shame.

In the end, i simply think these Vs. threads only make sense with settings where technology and vehicles are relative well explained.

But Warframe is simply not fixed enough yet to use it for this.

Meh, enough lore to explain the Grineer for me
