MrXtreme
-The objectives are in one go.Not like Trials when you complete sabotaging the injector you will move on to a next map, no. This is 1 go. 1 Ship. 11 missions. 1st. SpyFirst up, we have spy mission to get some Intel on the fellow imprisoned Tenno on board (Map preferred on Grineer or Corpus Ships). After hacking 3 terminals the Lotus is still unable to find the imprisoned Tenno on board the ship. Hence, objective 2.2nd. Mobile DefenseAfter failing to locate the imprisoned Tenno, the Lotus suggests locating him via hacking their main system.3rd. DeceptionOnce Mobile Defense is done, the Lotus instructs you to insert the Datamass into the ship's system, thus finally locating the imprisoned Tenno4th. SurvivalThe ship's systems detected Lotus' breach in the system, thus cutting out life support. The Lotus requires 10 minutes to re-enable the life support before you can proceed with the rescue.5th. DefenseIt turns out, the imprisoned Tenno is in a cryopod about to be awoken. Protect the pod until the Tenno is awake. EDIT: It's to be a couple of waves only, not endless. Credits to CY13BERPUNK for pointing this out.6th. RescueOnce the Tenno is awake, you must escort him to HIS extraction point. Once he's out you are to continue the mission.7th. InterceptionThe Lotus managed to intercept an incoming transmission from another <Grineer/Corpus Ship>. She then instructs you to intercept it before it's too late8th. AssassinationAfter intercepting that message, the Lotus discovers that <Boss from either Grineer or Corpus faction> is on board the ship. She tasks you to assassinate.9th. CaptureThe Lotus also managed to locate a HVT (High Value Target) individual located in the ship. Capture them and bring them back for interrogation.10th. ExterminateThe enemy must not know what happened on board the ship. Kill every last <Grineer/Corpus> on board.11th. SabotageLocate the ship's core and sabotage it. Once it's done, extract. Cyborg-Rox
Seems like a waste of effort, since it's probably a lot easier to program the missions separately like Trials, and having so many missions chunked into the same map would probably cause heavy loads and functionality issues, as well as buttloads of bugs. Not to mention the challenge. Screw up one of the 11 missions, either fairly or unfairly, you'll have to completely start over.

And this is the most interesting way of implementing every mission type and not having exterminate just feel like a quick lets keel teh enemies in only this area. or deception just a run to the point and run away. Cyborg-Rox
Nah if you fail it should reroll your teammates imo. That would take even more programming, more time, and cause even more bugs. I see practically no reason on DE's part to do it this way rather than the Trial's system. GrimMyfanwy
In and of itself, the idea is too bulky to work in warframe, but your list shows so great ways DE can hybrid the missions types to get the game feeling a little more fresh. Parse the list down to 2-4 of these, but have them randomly combined and call it an "Endurance" mission. Doing so have a a couple of major benefits:Challenge - Players won't be able to tailor their kit to a single mission type, instead, creating a loadout that will allow them to adapt to the situation at hand.Repeatability - if the mission is challenging enough to give a reward worth farming for, players can farm it longer before fatigue sets in.Add in things like Nightmare mode or archwing, and it could go a long way into making missions in the game seem like events, rather than the static canned objectives the majority feel like now. CY13ERPUNK
+9999 OP if only for multiple objective in each mission but i would like to see it all brought together, so ya id luv it if a later trial incorporated basically the OP i personally hate the endless defense mission becuz they make no sense =P
MrXtreme
That would take even more programming, more time, and cause even more bugs. I see practically no reason on DE's part to do it this way rather than the Trial's system. A Trial system could work too. But the goal of this mission is to fully charge the entire *Possible* missions on a ship tileset. So it's not gonna be to big, it Might not be too hard to program it but its all up to DE to be able to make this possible or not. +9999 OP if only for multiple objective in each mission but i would like to see it all brought together, so ya id luv it if a later trial incorporated basically the OP i personally hate the endless defense mission becuz they make no sense =P Oops. I forgot to mention it isn't supposed to be endless defense XD. It's meant to be a couple of waves then the imprisoned Tenno will awake and then it'll move on to the rescue mission. Will edit this. Basically a 1 - 2 hour of mission content where objectives will cross, interception while doing survival etc.
osbornia
Maybe this aboard a balor formian prototype or a Corpus Reverse engineered Balor formian? Would justify why that ship in particular is so special?
