Actually, the show continued on in comic book form and ultimately did have closure. And a time skip :O I have the comics sitting on my shelf right now. Good read. I'm curious what they'll be doing with his return, if they'll incorporate some of the comic stories/characters in, and maybe even finish the same way the comic did. Edit: The final volume, for anyone curious, is called "Samurai Jack: The Warrior King" if you want to look it up/buy it. The comics were great, seriously.
