Rhino Palatine + Arcane Vanguard

So, lemme just get this straight before making any plat purchases.

If I use Palatine skin on Rhino, will Arcane Vanguard's properties be taken away? Just asking, 'cause I looked at the skin from the 'Helmet' page in appearances in-game, and it showed the WHOLE skin, not the helmet. And the skin was labeled 'Rhino Palatine Skin', not 'Rhino Palatine Helmet'.

 

Anyways, just wanted to know.

No I'm afraid not.

 

Edit: To explain, the reason is because how helmet skins work, they are always equipped as an alternate helmet, and not just as a skin overlay. 

 

This is probably because you can put arcane enhancements on helms.

If you equip a different helmet than rhino palatine than you'll have the look of that helmet. So vanguard on palatine will look bad.

i dont think it does, the spikey bits on the helm and collar bones almost match.

 

but yes, you can run the body skin with the arcane helm.

no, changing the helmet takes away the bonus, no matter what you try to do... accept it :P

I use the arcane vanguard with the new skin and I think if looks spiffy enough ^.^
