Explain Me Pre-Corpus Valkyr.

So, Pre-Corpus Valkyr, to be honest, her ultimate doesn't make ANY sense to me.

 

 

I mean, yea she was a warframe with powers before the capture.

But why does she have Hysteria BEFORE the capture?

 

Valkyries are NOT rage fueled warriors.

They bring the dead warriors to Valhalla.

 

They seems to be warriors themselves, but not the '' I'm $%@@#$ off and im gonna rip out your throat'' types

 

 

I understand her ultimate After the capture........she was experimented on and she wanted to break free.

So willpower, and anger gave her Void Energy Claws of Rage, and she murdered her way out.

 

but before accident? nope. im confused

This has been bugging me all day, so i came here looking for answers.

it's just a skin. It doesn't necessarily entail a power change.

 

DE would not make a different ability set for a specific warframe just because he/she got a new skin.

 

If that was the case, Loki and Rhino would've been changed dramatically. I do understand that it is before her experimentation, and therefore there would be no fuel for her rage; but perhaps that is how it has to be.

 

I would think it odd if DE did give her a change of abilities just while wearing the skin, it wouldn't make a lot of sense to me.

Perhaps she was always angry, maybe that's her thing?

It's just a skin. think of it as her simply regaining her armor that she lost as opposed to her being in a state before her experimentation. some scars don't heal

I don't think we'll ever know what her powers were like before the experimentation. Maybe when they do Valkyr Prime they will change some things. Not mechanically, but maybe visually and audibly.

Well, that's because (lemme take a look at the skin to make it even clearer)...eh...wow..god, that skin looks just amazing. I could just look at it all day.

She is named for the valkryies, but isn't one. The only frames that are actually based off of their namesake are Wukong and Nezha, and this was mostly for marketing purposes for the Warframe China release.

 

I'm of the belief that she was always a ball of angry and Alad V only made it worse rather than being the cause of the angry.

Your post made me curious so I went to the internet for answers. I came across this:

 

The word valkyrie derives from Old Norse valkyrja, which is composed of two words; the noun valr (referring to the slain on the battlefield) and the verb kjósa (meaning "to choose"). Together, they mean "chooser of the slain".

 

All I can think of is how Valkyr is used to hold teams down as the "clutch reviver" a warframe is slain and more often than not it’s a Valkyr reviving them. So maybe she is a Valkyrie escorting Warframes out of missions back to Valhalla
