Hollow Point is optional. A fire rate mod or an expel mod would be good too. Seeker is also nice.

Personally I'd trade out Pistol Pestilence for Seeker as punchthrough effectively gives you more dps when taking on crowds, it's more important as it only has a small clip and 2.3 reload.

 

But if you're looking to deal with single target dps, stick with it.

Mine isnt super effective yet as hornet strike is r8 and my primed mods are like r6

Hollow Point is optional. A fire rate mod or an expel mod would be good too. Seeker is also nice.

Hollow point is worse than a 3rd 90% elemental. So if you decide to renounce fire rate and punch through, better get a third element.

Depends what you want it for really. I quite like adding Ice Storm to increase the magazine to 11. It tends to do enough damage to most things anyway.

You have three slots for whatever you so choose. Few possible options:

 

Viral Damage+ fire. If running 4xCP, this will be the hardest hitting possible option. If viral procs you should kill anything really easy with a headshot.

 

Two elements + Seeker. A more general approach if you want to use the gun more consistently, instead of using it as backup or strictly 'something needs to die' option.

 

Ice Storm is a decent mod to consider.

 

One 60/60 mod isn't a terrible idea either, especially if you are using Primed Heated Charge.

 

Ignore the 120% event mods, Hollow Point, rof mods, and most of else.

 

That is about it.

Im not going to use seeker, this is a pull out "Oh S***" weapon to kill stuff quickly.
