For Those Asking "will Every Weapon Get Primed?"

Everyone wants to know if all the weapons in the game will be primed. It is only going to be Tenno weapons unless we hybridize other faction weapons with Orokin tech. Here is the Weapon by faction list I made. (Note: These are based on appearance and whatever evidence wiki offers. Also all Warframes can be primed, and possibly all ships since they are all Tenno ships.)

Nova was originally a "new age" warframe designed by the tenno council, never existed back in the orokin days, This part of the lore got removed the moment they felt like making tons of $$$ on Nova Prime.

 

You are mistaken: the players assumed that the Tenno Council was a post-cryo organization, but that was simply the players being wrong. DE have never said that Nova was designed post-cryo not that the Warframe didn't exist in the Orokin era. I, myself, made the same mistake, but it's not DE that changed anything, it was simply we-the-players that were wrong.

 

Also @duhadventure: you have "Primable Archmelee" in both lists.

Strange. I was sure that they just removed that part of the lore, tell me if I'm wrong please, but wasn't the part of the tenno council originally in the codex entry of Nova? I wanted to read it again after Nova Prime was releassed and couldn't find it anymore.

The "Tenno council" part was never in the codex, it was (is) in the release profile video of Nova.

 

 

However _nothing_ else was ever said about the "Tenno council", a timeline was certainly never given for it. Players simply assumed it was a post-cryo thing

The Primes are not the ''original'' weapon. It just mean that it is utilizing some orokin tech. There are originally Tenno weapons that's been turned into Primes, ''but this art has long been lost''. Sources are in the WF page about Prime and Prime access.

I would like to point out that Vor is able to harness orokin tech, so it's not impossible to see a grineer weapon having a prime. I don't think that priming other faction's weapon is lore breaking. Well if the devs wishes it, then its their call. It'd still be awesome I think.

I think you're referring to the Wiki, which is player made and far from accurate in many cases. The Seer is not a prime weapon it is simply a hybrid. Prime weapons are all from design from the Orokin Era.

So can most of the groups in the Origin system, the Grineer generally don't as the Queens banned such experimentation Vor disobeyed the Queens and look how he ended up. the only reason Vor is mentioned is because he's an anomaly among the Grineer. The Corpus build the fusion moas from hybridised Orokin Tech. Their Detrons are old Orokin-era tech, and they make extensive use of Orokin torsion beam devices. None of that makes it "Prime"
