Lance_Lionroar
While this might've limited our gameplay options (?) if it were the case, it doesn't make sense to me to have Interception missions for Infested and such. Maybe I'm missing something, but it baffles me how these simple hive-minds use consoles to retrieve data/information, or how they even care about such information. To my knowledge all the Infested are capable of is swarming an enemy and eviscerating it, not using computers. Thoughts?
BlazerEraser
They are hardly simple, they even talk to us, they can infect robots, they must be simply infecting the consoles.

Huh. That hadn't occurred to me. Interesting point. Edited March 6, 2016 by Lance_Lionroar Typo.
Kaotyke
As far I could figure: We are intercepting another faction's intel, the Infested puke on the console and gives it an error. We recapturing is re-estabilishing control.

VoidNomade
Well, at least most of them have enough tentacles/limbs ^^ Also brain bugs .. eh those infested ships or other boss like infested creatures all have some form of intelligence and consciousness. I think if you can infest a cephalon/computer systems/ship systems you´re also able to command a runner to "hack" a console.^^
AkerTheSpjot
They puke on the consoles, apparently.
Mastikator2
The infested are nano-robots, not actually biological. Take nano spores description as an example "Fibrous technocyte tumor. Handle Infested tissue with caution.", Plastids "A disgusting nanite-infested tissue mass."
