(PSN)robotwars7 Posted March 9, 2016 Share Posted March 9, 2016 they appear to be holograms, a similar one appears in the Judgement hall, of what appears to be an Executor's face (Possibly Ballas). it seems those ones are a sort of "presentation" to show you how those machines work. Etan-gK Posted March 9, 2016 Share Posted March 9, 2016 doesn't the lotus refer to the void rifts as localized temporal rifts, or something? If so, they act like temporary, local, time warps to allow you to travel through time, but only in the vaults, so you may appear as a ghost to the orokin who were there at the time, and they appear as ghosts to you, due to your individual timelines being out of sync. Littlerift Posted March 9, 2016 Share Posted March 9, 2016 My take is that they're Orokin 'souls' trapped within the Neural Sentry of the Moon. They only ever appear in areas with a large number of white vines, and if you get close to them you can here them saying 'Free us', or at least something very similar.
