Helping an old-school player

Hello, I used to play Warframe a lot when Kubrows and Mirage were something new, so I guess I need an update.

My primary and secondary weapons still do nice damage (Latron prime is love), but I feel like my melee weapons are completely obsolete.

Can you recommend me any good new melee weapon and build? Thank you. :D

I would recommend Mios nor Nikana Prime. both are build for critical status.

Jat Kittag is a fun thing, with proc build or slam build it's one of the funniest thing in game.

Orthos Prime dominates with range and decent damage.

War is the most powerful raw damage melee right now.

 

There are also some "acolyte event" mods that greatly increase melee weapons capacities (not only melee, but I use Blood Rush and Body Count quite often, with War it's a bloodshed)

No. Redeemer ( Damage + charge attack point blank = HUGE PAYOFF) and Sheeve (With covert leathality mod).

 

Seriously, bad4youLT. Those weapons are OK but they aren't the best. they are easily surpassed by syndicate modded Hek(15k damage per shot), Vaykor Hek(6k x 3.2 crit + Headshots), and Vaykor Marelok(2.5k + 98% status).

These things have helped me solo run sortie after sortie. 15k damage per shot is nothing to scoff at.

or just rakta cernos 14-20-30 k crit? + ivara = amaze

 

or lex prime , 2-3-4k shots? on headshot 5?

A really decent melee weapon is Broken War. You get it from a quest complete with a potato and weapon slot. War is good, but is annoying to obtain.

scindo prime and and galintine and jat kitty are good melee... high damage and good stances

I do meant 'nor', because I would recommend Mios and or Nikana Prime for critical status build (.-.)

Definitely. I have 90% status and only one dual stats mod on the Vaykor.
And the S#&$stick is.... Well, it packs a punch, crits like a beast on headshots AND has Entropy effects. So yeah, definitely

For best melee with least amount of fuss do Second Dream Quest, you won't be disappointed and it's a MUST do quest for any old school player lol. There's a quest "natah" you'll need to complete first.
