Syndicates are groups of interest operating throughout the Origin System separate from the Corpus, Grineer, and the Tenno (3 main factions). To join one, make a sacrifice and wear sigils on your Warframe. You will earn Standing (reputation) with the Syndicate and can use it as a currency to either level up a rank, or get these benefits:

  • Eximus Specters
  • Void Key Packs
  • Large Team Energy/Health/Ammo/Shield Restores
  • Unique Weapon Augment Mods
  • Unique Warframe Augment Mods
  • Unique Weapons

Syndicates are essentially minor factions that you can align with for rewards and bonuses. You gain Standing (the Syndicate "resource") by either completing Syndicate Missions or regularly playing with a Syndicate sigil equipped. Syndicate sigils can be acquired from the Syndicates themselves, and can be equipped on your Warframes in the Appearance section of your arsenal.

As you gain Standing with Syndicates, you will eventually be prompted to rank up. In order to do this, you will be asked to contribute some sort of item to the Syndicate to unlock the next tier of Standing. These contributions are often in the form of Prime Parts, Forma, etc.

The more Standing you have with a Syndicate, the greater the rewards. Once you reach the highest tier, you'll gain access to Warframe Augments and Syndicate Weapons.

syndicates are factions that you can join and invest standing point in. when all are at their base, and you invest in one, you should get a sigil. that sigil allows you to get rep (standing points) for that faction, and a smaller amount of rep to their allied faction, and negative rep to your chosen faction's worst enemy, and a smaller negative rep to the ally of the enemy. ex-you're in Arbiters and you get 100 rep to them at the end of the mission. so you get +100 to arbiter, +50 to cephilon, -100 to red veil and -50 to perrin sequence (i think).

to equip the sigil-  customize character>regalia>front/back sigil>sigil of choice

once you gain enough rep in your chosen (and allied) syndicate, you can rank up at a cost and get a free reward from that tier. rewards include-sigil that increase rep gain per mission, mods, weapons, spectres, void key pack (3keys, 1 guaranteed to be T3 or 4) and syandana.  you can also spend standing to receive rewards so long as they are unlocked to you.

but be warned, the enemy factions will send attack squads after you when they reach certain negative standing.

Also, Syndicate copypasta go!

You can easily have positive Standing in 4 Syndicates at once:

1) Steel / Suda / Hexis / Veil
Only run Steel / Suda missions, have a Steel Sigil equipped.

Suda won't interfere with Steel and gives you +50% Hexis,
the -50% Veil is made up by the +50% Veil from Steel
and the Steel Sigil (no negative for Suda / Hexis) finally gets Veil into positive.

2) Veil / Loka / Perrin / Steel
Only run Veil / Loka missions, have a Veil Sigil equipped.

Works pretty much like the previous.
FYI, this combination makes you miss out on Suda's unique Large Team Shield Restore. (Eh, no big deal, IMO.)

3) Perrin / Hexis / Loka / Suda
Only run Perrin / Hexis missions, alternate between Perrin / Hexis Sigils.

Perrin / Hexis are opposed but you still get a total of +50% for each
and they don't interfere with Loka / Suda so +50% each there, as well.
FYI, this combination makes you miss out on Veil's unique Large Team Ammo Restore. (Maybe somewhat of a big deal, dunno.)
