Confused over Mastery rank. My friend reached MR22 but i am not able to ? (SOLVED) (bugged mastery points)

EDIT#2: SUCCESS. So after re-leveling my wyrm,laser rifle & pistol i finally managed to reach rank 22. I guess everyone should check their codex item completion for bugged mastery points where in some items dont give mastery despite showing complete in equipment under profile.

EDIT #1:    Might have figured out the bug with missing mastery points. Apparently Wyrm , burst pistol & laser rifle dont show maxed out in codex. Currently have them cooking. Will re-level them up to see whether it awards me 12k xp to reach the required MR 22. I will update tis post for others to check their own profile codex if required for missing Mastery points :-) 


So recently one of my friends managed to reach MR 22 while i still need 7204 xp to reach the same. We both are founders with him having the rank of a Hunter & myself being a Master. My question is that how come despite me having an extra weapon (i.e. skana prime) have not managed to reach MR 22 ? I am a bit confused. I have every item in the game except the braton,lato vandals & the lato prime. But thats the case with him too. In fact if i see my profile as mentioned below he has an item count of 338 while i have an item count of 339 (difference of having skana prime which he doesnt have). Also i would like to mention that i have completed the solar map xp 100% (mentioned below in screenshot).

Am i missing something here ? Can anybody who is MR 22 / MR 21 please help me in understanding what i am doing wrong here or is this just some bug.

Well I am a lower Founder level to you, so thats 1 more 1 weapon I dont have, i also don't have the 2 closed beta vandals but I am mr22. Ill see if i can figure out what you are missing because you should be mr22 with at least one extra weapon.

I have all 7 Mk-1 weapons maxed.

Even the other event weapons i missed i got them either from sorties or Baro (e.g quanta vandal,karak wraith etc)

I agree with the others here that this might be a bugged profile. You could try asking DE support for help in figuring this out.

Can you double check your codex?

 

I had a weapon shown on my profile as not max but when i checked my codex for ranks it was. Your profile may be bugged and showing you a weapon that probably isn't maxed level.

 

To fix the issue on my profile i had to re level the weapon for it to update

Check exactly what in codex Sir ? I dont have all scans on enemies. But they dont give xp. The rest items i do have except braton/lato vandals & lato prime.

Okay i guess i might have figured it out. After checking the codex the Wyrm sentinel, burst pistol & laser rifle DO NOT show max rank even though they do show leveled up in my profile. I guess i will re-level up those & then see if it awards me the xp required & reach MR 22. Thanks for the response :-)

I had the same bug when they moved over to the new Landing Craft system way back, had to re-level a couple of weapons and my wyrm lol.

You are right. As replied above & according to the screenshot posted above wyrm & 2 sentinel weapons do not show max rank although in my profile they do show as max rank. Ima gonna re-level them up & see what happens.

You will get the mastery points for them totaling at 12k points and should get you to Rank 22. :D

I'm not a founder and I have 4204 left (I don't have the Latron Wraith), so this is weird. Gear count is 337/337.

 

Oh you found the bug, nevermind. My clanmate and I had a bug too, we maxed out weapons to level 30 (Furax in my case and Machete in his case), but on my and his profile both stayed 29. They were lvl 30 weapons, but we had to relevel them.

Yup. I will re-level wyrm,burst pistol & laser rifle & see how it goes. Those should award me 12k xp as posted above. They dont show leveled up in codex. Hopefully this works out :-)

Its take away affinity earned in mission, not mastery points

There are 337 items to level up, not counting the ones that came with excali and closed beta/alpha exclusive ones (so in total 341 I think)
Exclusive weapons dont show up in codex unless you own them.
That's why you're missing that much.
I currently have 337 in my codex (+ excali and beta/alpha stuff)
you're not bugged :P

Got the mastery points after re-leveling wyrm,laser pistol & rifle. Finally got to MR22 :-)
