You're focused on 1 word and then missed the explanation right after? The void missions are staying, you're just getting a different (better) way to get the prime items. This will make use of many other types of missions (derelict is also considered a mission). Like I said, every comment about it will be speculation and possibly lead to drama, be it to a positive side or a negative one, and we all know towards which the world usually turns around to.
