Warframe should take a page out of Prototype's book of wall-running. Simple, fast, effective, and looks good. We don't need this gimmicky trash like wall-latching, nobody uses it anyway.

You have to still think of how hard  it will be for DE, to code and program such a fluid wall run. That and also just try to use with a keyboard, it will be a lot harder then on a controller.

As for the Wall latch, even I rarely use it. Yes, rarely, but not never. Besides it will also mean the removal or rework of  latest?cb=20151101102048. What you can't guess which one it is? Here http://warframe.wikia.com/wiki/Arcane_Arachne

PS: There aren't that many places where you will wall run long enough to really need the wall run from Prototype.

Outdated? You do know that the same (or almost the same) wall run has been and is still used in basicly every game with a parkour system, right? Does that make them outdated as well, even if they came out like a few weeks ago?

Also are you talking about the Parkour 1.0 system in general, or just the wall run system?

You played while parkour 1.0 was still in the game and don't remember how impractical, glitchy and awkward it was to try and utilize? You sure about that?

You don't remember sticking to a wall you never meant too and when you tried jumping off you had momentum wackier then a loonietoons animation? You don't remember trying to wallrun upward only to stop dead after a few seconds? Don't even get me started on coptering vs bulletjumping.

Not to mention they didn't just change the animation, they completely changed how it works. Wall run is gone, and good riddance to it. It wouldn't work now even if they wanted to bring it back just because some people think it looks a bit cooler.

Are you even trying to listen to what we say to you? Or are you replying to what you think we're saying without bothering to actually read?

Nobody here wants Wallrun 1.0 as it was. We want the same look, not the same mechanic.

It will be easier on a keyboard in anything. For the record, I'm yet to see a person who didn't have a problem with playing on a controller, outside of "keyboard vs. controller" debates on the controller side.

I'm not saying that we need infinite Wallrun like Prototype, just the fluidity. Run towards wall while holding space, run up wall regardless of it's shape. It would be like a cross between Prototype and Hanzo/Genji wallrun from Overwatch.

Originally when working on the updated parkour, DE was trying to update wallrunning, adding the ability to change directions and jump between walls.  They eventually scrapped the idea, because there were very few tilesets where there were large, flat walls for the player to run along.  Most tiles are too uneven for a sticky wall run to be smooth and effective.
