Galatine, damage. 
It only has 10% base crit and 20% status, so damage is your best bet. It's good enough for the star chart.

It's all down to preferences, honestly... I use mine as a brute-force (damage) weapon, with the constantly-whirling Tempo Royale stance to keep even the lightest 'Frames weaving a path of dismembered bodies across the map. With the various event Status/Element mods, you can stack in some proc power to really screw them over, even if it won't be perfect.

if you do not intend to be using Blood Rush, then Damage. but you might as well have some Status while you're at it, since your giant baseball bat can apply good Slash Status + other stuff.

Blood Rush + Body Count + Weeping Wounds + ....whatever else you'd like to use.

I only use crit on Galatine if I'm using tempo royale because of the multipliers.
