What should I prefer against Grineer?

Hi. I want to make a weapons build especially against Grineer.

What shoud I prefer?

1. Alternative

2492 Corrosive with 32366 dps and 48,5% Status

2. Alternative

3542 Magnetic with 46011 dps

Not only does it deal a LOT of damage against Heavy Gunners and Troopers (more than an equal amount of Viral would), Magnetic has a huge penalty against Bombards and Elite Lancers

The Mutalist Quanta choice.

Magnetic gets an automatic -50% damage with most boss enemies with armor and heavy Grineer units.

Magnetic damage is really bad against grineer, this one is easily corrosive.

Assuming you're using Warframe Builder for your numbers, you can do a somewhat better comparison by clicking the Details button and reading the final DPS in the Ferrite Armor and Alloy Armor columns.

Good tip, yes I use WF bilder (which has a userscript for riven mods now).

First I have to correct my start figures (wrong riven mod)

2200 Corrosive with 28900 dps and 48,5% Status

2. Alternative

3200 Magnetic with 41600 dps

 

1. has about 28k against Ferrite and 20k against Alloy

2. has 26,8k against Ferrite and 13,4k against Alloy

So the result seems to be clear ;)

You also do more damage with each corrosive proc.
