Scan 3 Elite Arid Lancers

When i scanned the last lancer it said 3/3 scanned but when i got back to my ship the quest still said scan three elite arid lancers. Ive tried closing my game and starting it back up again but still nothing.

If you mean the Daily Simaris quest, then you have to go and talk to him on a relay to get rewarded.

Check the quest on how many you have scans you have done then go back to relay and move on the quest.

The New Strange quest rewards Chroma. From the wiki:

Indeed. To specify; for the quest, you need to scan three elite lancer targets. They aren't normal lancers. They glow blue, have a marker above them, and are found by following a blue trail you can see when looking through the synthesis scanner. The wiki explains this;

"The next mission involves synthesizing a single Elite Arid Lancer on three different missions for Simaris. The mission will have a single Synthesis target, which will be a special Arid Lancer with a visible dark blue outline. The targets can also be tracked by following floating blue lights that can only be seen through the Synthesis Scanner, which indicate that the target is nearby. Simaris will also notify you when the target is in range. At this time, a gold hexagon icon will appear on the mini map representing the Elite Arid Lancer.

Players must scan 4 nodes on the Elite Arid Lancer, accomplished by equipping their Synthesis Scanner from the Gear menu, aiming at the target node and holding down the fire key (default LMB) until the node is scanned. The nodes appear as blue orbs on the target. The Arid Lancer target will then disintegrate once all 4 of their nodes have been scanned, indicating a successful synthesis. Scanning a node may cause the target to act unpredictably however, you can prevent them from becoming alert by using stealth abilities like Rift Walk."
