tbeest
Hearing your own weapons at full volume and the enemy standing with his back to you a few meters away not giving a crap feels... Odd. Adding an audible modifier to the sound so the mod would sound more like equipping a silencer would be very nice. If that's too much work. there's the muffled outdoor (vacuum?) sound for firing weapons, having those instead of your regular sound when applying a Hush mod/using Banshee would be something. Marine027
According to older posts people complained about not hearign there weapon, so they changed that despite silence mod, which in my eyes was a dumb decision listening to such.
TaylorsContraction
+1 for op's suggestion. Even banshee's sound attenuation would be nice on silenced weapons. If some people truly want to hear their silenced guns make it a toggle in options, "silencer effects enabled /disabled".
Zepp_
Yes, I would also rather have hushed hush weps.
(XBOX)CannyJack
Likewise. It's completely weird to fire a hushed weapon and still have it sound just like a normal one.
Old_King_Belgothia
Sneaking around with a Hek is a great strategy but the sheer volume per shot is quite in contrast to sneaky mood. I even have to stop shooting to let the sound of footsteps become clear again to me before i move on to zero on on new targets. Not something that should need to be done for a weapon that's 'silenced'. New sounds per weapon type would be needed too. A fully automatic weapon should have a different sound than a shotgun, of course. Launchers and their explosions would also need adjusting. (XBOX)RPColten
Agreed. It should be set as a toggle in the options as well.
