Assuming arcane avenger works like standart crit mod, it will be 62.5%. But only for melee since naramon boosts only melee crit chance if i remember correctly, and if this is correct you better of with blood rush rather than true steel.

25+25*0.9+25*0.3+25*0.3=25*2.5=62.5%

Calculations are correct as long as i AA and naramon work like normal mod. Never payed attention to how naramon crit worked and never owned AA so no clue.

If AA or naramon affect base chance directly then calculation of rapt0rman is the correct one

Arcane avenger is additive instead of multiplicative, so you just slap a flat 30% on at the end, and naramon is multiplicative, but it works off of your modded crit chance instead of your base crit chance.

Base crit chance x ( 1 + mods) x (1 + naramon) + arcanes + Cat eye

So here, 25% x (1+0.90) x (1+0.30) + 30% + 0% = 91.75% (61.75% when your arcane is off)
Be careful, Naramon effect only apply on melee weapons.

This is indeed the correct formula.

This is wrong. Naramon crit chance boost is additive with the mod. The mod is also 60% and not 90%.

Correct formula when using True Steel instead of imaginary 90% mod is:

25% * (1+(0.6+0.3)) + 30% = 77.5%

No, Naramon count separatly I made some tests and wikia say same.

I just tested with Fragor Prime (35% crit) and True Steel (+60%), rank 1 True punishment (+20%) and rank 2 naramon passive (+20%) with Arcane Avenger.

If it works like you say, the weapon should have 35% * 1.8 * 1.2 + 30% = 105.6% crit chance.

If it works like I say, the weapon should have 35% * 2 + 30% = 100% chance.

I haven't got any red numbers while swinging it for 5 minutes.

How did you test that?

It's quite simple.
Take a weapon with 20% crit chance and a maxed true steel (+60% crit chance) :

  • With my formula, the equation result is 20% x (1+0.60) x (1+0.30) = 41%
  • With your formula, the equation result is 20% x (1+0.60+0.30) = 38%

Now, take a Adarza Kavat with Cat Eye (flat 60% crit chance increase) :

  • With my formula, the equation result is 20% x (1+0.60) x (1+0.30) + 60% = 101%
  • With your formula, the equation result is 20% x (1+0.60+0.30) + 60%= 98%

At this point :

  • If my formula is correct, the weapon is able to red crit with 1%
  • If your formula is correct, the weapon still do normal hits with 2%

I tested and the weapon rarely do some red crit when Cat Eye is active, so my formula is correct.

Oh, so odd.
I tested it to be sure, but it was a long time ago. Does DE changed this ?

Yeah, the wiki says it's counted separately, but I agree that it would be a pain to actually test, even with fragor prime with the highest base crit chance at 35% increasing the difference.

.35*(1+.60)*(1+.30)=0.728 v.s .35*(1+.60+.30)=0.665 is still only a ~6% difference and you'd have to log thousands of hits to get any sort of reliable average.

Edit: ah, testing with red crits, clever.
