Logically you should buy Nidus if buying either option. Not because he is better or anything, but because not only is the quest boring as hell, getting his parts can potentially be very RNG-gated.

Also Inaros' quest is honestly one of the best in the whole game. I would go so far as to say better than TWW (my opinion obviously). And in Inaros' quest, it gives you all the parts. In The Glast Gambit, it's like 'hey you ground out all these index runs? Here's his blueprint, have a nice life!'

And the game never even tells you where to get his parts, which is beyond stupid. I'm a wikiholic so it didn't matter to me but still. Everything involving acquiring Nidus has been poor game design.

Anyway, his quest is the most boring quest in game (the only one worse, imo, is Atlas quest) so it's better to buy it than Inaros. Just as topic title said, there is no choice :)

Ehh honestly this isn't the game telling you really. This is the game having the information. I'm referring to something along the lines of either a transmission or a mail of lotus saying something like 'blah blah this relic is old, but I've heard recent messages about matching pieces on eris blah blah' something to that effect, from either her or in the mail once you beat the quest. Because once you finish it, you're just like 'cool... got a bp....useful....'.
