Oberons new 4th ability

So everyone complains Oberon is decent at most things but also outclassed in any of his viable roles. A fun idea I had was to get rid of his 1st or 2nd power and make his new 4th power the ability to summon both a kubrow and kavat made of energy to fight for him at the cost of energy per second or duration. If the Kubrow and kavat had some of their unique mods equipped I think it would make for a very fun and interesting power given that he already has a natural affinity for animals!

please no hate, it's just a cool idea I had, I OF COURSE want to keep his slam power because dayum it is fun and cool 😎👌🏻 Let me know what you guys think! Thanks Tenno!

Sorry, while the idea is kinda interresting, it's basically a clone of Atlas's ult (which more often than not is preety useless). Keep in mind though that Atlas it tanky as quack, while Oberon is not, so changing his ult from something that deals damage and kinda CC's enemies to something that spawns 2 random idiots running around doing preety much nothing, doesn't seem like a good idea. I guess it would be reasonable for a 2nd skill, but I'd still rather see a reworked circular Hallowed Ground.

For beastmaster I coud imagine a different frame for a druid summoning a pack of wolves or treants maybe. As the paladin side his fourth could be sometihing with purge and purification but he needs tweaks before deciding to add some new role. I don't like the specialist frames because those can do only one job mostly which is not a favorable moment. Jack of all trade frames should not be much stronger than those whom specialist but at least they could effectively do everything without a fear what if my trick not success.

Dude, this is actually a nice idea!  An exalted pet! Since Oberon is both a healer and a damage dealer it could heal over time the party members or defend them from the enemies, depending on the build. I like it. :D

Right! The ability can be worked over and tweaked, this was just a basic idea, additional ideas like yours are exactly why I posted this :)

Ok, want some ideas, then make it a chanelled (drains energy over time) and "cycle through" skill (4 options in 1 skill like Vauban's Minelayer or Ivara's Quiver).

You would summon up to 5 pets. And you would be able to choose one of the following:

1. Kubrows which would run around attacking enemies and knocking them down

2. Kavats which would give and overshield or health regen buff and deal small damage to enemies taking some aggro

3. Shade Sentinels (1 for each team member) which would make allies invisible (as long as they don't attack)

4. Some kind of bees, which would poison enemies (apply gas status or something) dealing damage over time and maybe cause some confusion (?)

Imo this would make the 4th skill unique and fitting with Obewron's "jack of all trades" theme.

Honestly, I feel the Oberon is no longer sustainable as he is now. He cannot continue being both a paladin and a druid and still be useful. I personally think we need to ditch the entire premise of Oberon being a paladin(we can always make another frame to do that), and focus solely on him being a druid.
