  • Every time he takes "10% of max health" worth of damage,
  • he loses 5% of his max armor, and a chunk of ice breaks off him and lands on the ground.
  • The chunk of Rime, will grow over time, and after 10 seconds, will become a Rime Golem ally,
  • that will fight alongside him. (similar to the stone golems atlas makes)
  • If the ice is destroyed before it grows into a Rime golem, it unleashes a toxic gas AoE.
  • The Rime golems will unleash a toxic gas AoE when they die as well.
  • Rime Chunks and Rime Golems take 100% more heat damage.

Power 1: Rime Breath

  • Cast in direction of cursor
  • Unleash a deep, heavy breath that freezes all it touches.
  • Nullifier shields can stop the breath from entering the bubble,
  • but it can't nullify the effects already on enemies that enter it.
  • Frosted enemies are slower, and take constant cold damage.
  • When enemies walk on slick floor, they have a chance to slip and fall.
  • If Rime Breath Touches a Rime Golem or Rime Chunks they are healed.

  • Cast Cost: 25 energy (power efficiency)
  • Duration: 5/10/15/20 seconds (power duration)
  • Damage: 2/4/6/8 cold per second (power strength)
  • Slow: 5/10/15/20% (power strength)

Power 2: Rime Skin

  • Cast on Self
  • An extra coating of Ice forms on his body.
  • Nullifiers can't cancel Rime Skin. Heat damage weakens, and can nullify it though.
  • Restores lost armor, and gives him more armor beyond that.
  • Cold damage is negated, and cold procs trigger "Armor Restore/Bolster" instead of slowing him.
  • "Armor Restore" can stack any number of times, "Armor Bolster" can be stacked up to 4 times.
  • If cast while targeting an Ice Golem, or Ice Chunk, the effect is given to them till death.
  • If Rime Breath is Cast while Rime skin is active, the effects of Rime Breath are increased.
  •  
  • Cast Cost: 25 Health (power efficiency)
  • Armor Restore: 25/50/75/100 (power strength)
  • Armor Bolster: 25/50/75/100 (power strength) (Only activates when at max armor)(Stacks 4 times)

  • Rime Breath Effectiveness: +5/10/15/20% (power strength)

  • Augment: Rime Shell
  • The coating of ice on his skin is now reflective, and spiked.
  • Lasers will bounce off him, dealing less damage. (including Death Orb Lasers)
  • Laser traps and doors are still triggered though.
  • Lasers that bounce off him can hit enemies.
  • The spikes harm melee attackers, and harm enemies he rolls into.

  • Reflected Laser Damage Reduction: -10/20/30/40%
  • Melee Attacker Spike Damage: 10/20/30/40% damage back in puncture damage
  • Spiked Roll hit number: 4/8/12/16

Power 3: Rime Boulder

  • Cast in direction
  • Throw a large boulder of Ice at your enemies.
  • The boulder will roll on the ground till it hits a wall.
  • Enemies in it's path will be knocked down, and crushed.
  • The boulder can be damaged and destroyed. (100% more damage from heat)
  • If the boulder impacts a Rime Golem Chunk, it will be picked up, and a Rime Golem will pop out of the boulder after it explodes.
  • If the boulder impacts an Rime Golem, the Rime golem will eat it, and it's health and armor will be fully restored.
  • If Rime Breath is cast on Rime Boulder, the boulder gains ice spikes, and puncture damage.
  • If Rime Skin is cast while targeting a Rime Boulder, he eats the boulder to restore some health and armor.

  • Cast Cost: 25 health and armor (power efficiency)
  • Throw Range: 3/6/9/12 meters (power range)
  • Rime Boulder Health: 250/500/750/1000 (power strength)
  • Rime Boulder Armor: 200/400/600/800 (power strength)
  • Rime Boulder Size: 2/4/6/8 meters (power range)
  • Rime Boulder Impact Damage: 225/450/675/900 (power strength)
  • Rime Boulder Cold Damage: 25/50/75/100 (power strength)

  • When the Rime Boulder hits a wall or is destroyed,
  • 1/2/3/4 smaller boulders will replace it, and roll in different directions.
  • These smaller boulders are 5/10/15/20% as effective as the normal sized one.
  • (5/10/15/20%, meaning, if the normal one would deal 900 damage, the smaller ones deal 180)
  • (if a normal one had 800 armor, the smaller one would have 160 armor, ect)

  • The sky is filled with black clouds, and shards of ice fall to the ground.
  • Rime Golem Chunks grow faster inside Rime Storm's AoE.
  • Rime Golems regain health and armor while in the storm.
  • Rime Breath's Range is increased inside Rime Storm.
  • If Rime Skin is active, Aurgelmir regains health and armor while in the storm.
  • Rime Boulder's size increases over time inside a Rime Storm.

  • Cast Cost: 50 health and armor (power efficiency)
  • Duration: 15/30/45/60 seconds (power duration)
  • AoE: 10/20/30/40 meters (power range)

  • Ice Shard Projectiles: 20/40/60/80 per second over a wide area (power strength)
  • Ice Shard Puncture Damage: 10/20/30/40 (power strength)
  • Ice Shard Cold Damage: 10/20/30/40 (power strength)

Added Augment for 3rd power, Rime Boulder.

  • Augment: Rime Rollers
  • When the Rime Boulder hits a wall or is destroyed,
  • 1/2/3/4 smaller boulders will replace it, and roll in different directions.
  • These smaller boulders are 5/10/15/20% as effective as the normal sized one.
  • (5/10/15/20%, meaning, if the normal one would deal 900 damage, the smaller ones deal 180)
  • (if a normal one had 800 armor, the smaller one would have 160 armor, ect)

Grammar Tweaks.

Reduced Power.

Rime Boulder growth inside a Rime Storm, no longer increases with power strength.

 

Added an Augment for Rime Storm.

  • Augment: Rime Blizzard
  • Strong winds and snow hinder the movement and sight of enemies inside the storm.
  • Enemies inside the Storm are open to finishers.
  •  
  • Enemies Speed Reduction: -10/20/30/40%
  • Enemy sight range: -15/30/45/60%

That aside, I really like this frame. The passive is a really unique idea, well done.

Ice Warrior that can also deal Toxin damage...hmm...

And I want to add in a negligible comment that we already ha an Ice Warrior.

Energy Capacity should really be buffed. He seems like a caster tank.

Additionally, he should probably sport at least minor shields.

Passive is way too convoluted to be a passive only. Seems more like an ability.

Rime Breath is alright. Nothing much to say on it. 

Rime Skin is pretty counter-intuitive, as you are sacrificing health for damage reduction, but the point of the ability is to keep yourself alive. Also seems a bit to much like another Iron Skin.

Rime Boulder isn't necessarily worth casting (similar to Mesa's Ballistic Battery), although it does have minor use. Maybe switch this ability out for the Rimelings passive.

Rime Storm is pretty cool. Nice job.

Overall, some tweaks are needed for this concept. Also, why is this the only Frame that can straight up negate the entire concept of the Nullifier. Pretty okay, I guess.

One of something is never enough.

Only his first power actually uses energy, everything else costs armor, health, or both.

Isn't 500 armor like, 80% damage resistance?
I guess he can have a small amount of shield on top of that, seems a little op though.

It is pretty complicated compared to stuff like, 50% longer wall hanging, or silent weapons.
If fit's his lore though, I could remove the count down to becoming a Rime Golem,
and make it so the only way to make a Rime Golem is to roll up Rime Chunks in a Rime Boulder.

It doesn't just increase max armor, it repairs damaged armor, makes him immune to cold damage,
and converts all cold procs into another repair armor, or increase max armor if his armor was already at 100% condition.
In what way would you make Rime Skin more unique to him?

You think Ballistic Battery is not worth casting?
It can literally make any weapon a One-Hit-Killer, adding an extra flat damage increase on-top of any weapon's damage.
Base 100% power strength adds 1600 damage to your next shot with any weapon.
Have a weapon that only does 1 damage? Now it does 1601 damage, but only for the next shot.
Not only that, but the elimental damage of your weapon mods will increas based on the extra damage.
So if you have +100% Extra Fire damage, that +1600 dmg with add another +1600 Fire damage.

But overall, Rime Boulder is his "worst" power.
What would you do to make it better?

Thanks, Rime Storm is what I wish Frost's ult was.

He still can't cast powers when inside a Nullifier's shield,
but a Nulifier can't negate/disable the powers that are already active.

I've got a suggestion; maybe you could rename a few so that not all of the abilities have the word rime in them, I don't have much a  problem with it but there are some people out there who might. (I'm not too good with names) For Rime Skin you could change it to Winter Skin and for Rime Boulder you could change it to Glacial Shard, and with Rime Storm you could change it to Arctic Gale, I think your first ability name is fine. But that's just what I think. I really like this concept though, it's very well thought out.

It would be, but then it wouldn't be Mythologically accurate.

He is the Rime Lord, and his Rime is special, it's frozen poison.
Synonyms for Rime are, freeze, frost, hoar, hoarfrost, and ice.
Synonyms for Hoarfrost add, blight, gelid, gelidity, gelidness, drop, dip and Jack Frost.

So I can use these words to come up with new names for the powers.
I can also use the Norse words for them.

So,
Frost is Hrím or Rimée
Cold is Kaldr or Svalr.
Freeze is Frjósa.
Kala is to become colder.
Skamm-degi means short winter day.
Vetrar-dagr means winter day.
Galetaer means to shiver with cold.

The Rime he's made out of is frozen poison, when it melts that poison is released.
You can read the Myth about him if you want to learn about it.
Frost already has an AoE freeze ability though, and it works better, and is modifiable.
Passives aren't modifiable.
