Is this the best Amprex build available?

I'm certain there are Riven mods that cure cancer. Be that as it may, is this the best build you can manage today?

 

Perhaps the Primed Bane mods would do this better?

Punch Through is a good way to increase your damage as well. Each enemy you're hitting with the main beam will produce its own chains to other enemies.

I would replace Stormbringer for Metal Auger, just as KirukaChan said, PunchThrough is very beneficial to this weapon, not only for it causing multiple electrical arcs for hitting multiple enemies but also because the arcs can go through walls too, hitting or killing mobs that you didnt know were even there.

Primed Bane would be worth running simply so you don't have to hold zoom or be subject to possible DPS loss if there's a gap in your kill rate.

It's a very tiny DPS loss compared to Bladed Rounds but if you don't mind Zoom then using both and dropping an element would be best.

Unless of course you want Punch-through which is fairly useful on Amprex.

I'm not sure I'd go Magnetic for Corpus though. might be better off with 60/60 Gas + Electric or just Straight Damage Electric.
