0 Pizzarugi
My personal favorite is Nidus. He's a little slow at the start, but once you build up stacks, he becomes a godly powerhouse. Decent alternatives are Mesa and Banshee with resonating quake augment.
0 Skaleek
Top damage for endgame? Banshee, not resonating quake. Sonar and resonance. Edited July 10, 2017 by Skaleek
0 THeMooN85
DPS =/= DD Damage Per Second =/= Damage Dealer Mesa is DD, Nidus is... well DD, CC, TANK, SUPPORT, HEALER. The only DPS @Pizzarugimentioned is Banshee (Prime). Other DPS's are Saryn, Ember, Nova, Equinox, Octavia, Chroma.

Or do you count only damage buffers as DPS? Edited July 10, 2017 by aligatorno

Mentioned Saryn is dealing damage over time, by her spores, by toxin. Mesa simply shoots things and that shots dealing high amount of damage per bullet. that's why she's DD not DPS. Mesa, yes, with a properly modded secondary she kills quite easily. SAryn on the other hand, not really, at least not without a proper team. She can halve everyone's health with her Spores, but even with a Viral + Toxic debuff on every enemy her miasma falls short at those levels. Damage per Second in most games that I`ve played means the damage that something can dish out in a second, and it is used for highly damaging ones like rogues and mages. This is my thinking also as an Old School gamer. It's also funny how people on the forums tend to leave out Ivara when DPS or Damage Dealing frames are mentioned. Especially since she's one of the higher damage dealing frames. Just for reference: DoT= Damage over Time DD= Damage Dealer DPS= Damage per Second Mesa can be considered a DPS frame while Saryn is DoT. With Ivara being considered a DD frame. Ranged, melee, Spore, toxic lash and/or a combination of them. I went with power, duration, and range because I wanted as many options while in the same mission. Damage over time is literally damage divided by time, or in a more specific term, damage-per-second.

This is true in a way. The main defining difference can be considered that DoT doesn't require additional activity after the initial action. While DPS does. Saryn can cast Spore once and do something else while Spore continues to do damage (Damage over Time). Mesa using Peacemaker has to actively fire for it to continue to do damage (Damage per Second). To some this is just a minor difference between the two and will use the terms interchangeably. While others consider it a major difference between the two, and prefer to separate the terms. Not saying that you're wrong, just giving reasons how they can be used to accurately describe something. :D
0 Xzorn
For damage technically the winner is Equinox but there are some stipulations. Equinox cannot hurt high armored enemies very well and it takes quite a large health pool to beat out Mesa who would prolly be 2nd with a mighty 300k DPS @200% Power Strength. Excal being pretty close in Raw damage but with superior status and Hyseria being right behind him. The best frames for Solo would prolly be Ivara / Octavia / Ash at the level cap with Nidus, Mesa, Chroma, Oberon and Trinity all sitting around lvl 400. The best group frame is Banshee. Hands down. After that against unarmored a Fireball Frenzy + Flash Accelerant Ember or against armored a Venom Dose Saryn.
