Seems to be happening with various weapons and warframes. Lenz, for example.

I am agreeing unironically to OP. Appearance is EVERYTHING.

I'm the type of person that would play an MMO, acquire two different armor sets, but wear the inferior set purely because it looks better than the other.

This 'broken arm' thing has happened with a wide array of other primaries that have odd hand placement - such as Opticor. The only fix is to change where the hand is placed, or find a means to adapt the idle animation using the same tech they used for the hand placement.
