Sorry everyone, I can't keep up the price of riven mod, because I didn't have much time to play this game, so I decide to stop giving advice about price checking.

If you have any riven mod, but don't know how much it worth just ask me


Q : How do I estimate the price?
A : number of good stats * stats combo * weapon's popularity * freshness (new weapon get higher price around 1-2 week)

Tips

  • new weapon riven (first week) always get high price 300 - 1000 ,except if the weapon is bad (like cycron) or very hard to get ( zenith, sigma) 
  • always set a price higher than what you want ( for negotiation ), but not too much.

I feel the need to mention there's a difference between price and actual effectiveness of Rivens.

Much as the community might want to standardize rolls for ease; the damage system just isn't that simple.  I've seen many "God Tier" (Whatever that actually means) beaten by lower valued Rivens. So just keep in mind that most weapons have more than one perfect roll depending what you're shooting and don't get sharked.

+232.5% Melee DMG

MR 11 and only needs one more level to be maxed at 18Madurai

This Riven has never been rerolled.

Note: modding is a basic mechanic, if you don't know how to mod your weapons or have no clue on what you want them to do, then please, step away from rivens (and sorties for that matter) and go back to learning the basic mechanic asap.

Another player can never tell you if a riven is good or not, it's none and both at the same time, depending on the actual goal you have for said weapon, for example, if you want a weapon to do just gas damage, you can't have a riven mod with cold, unless ofcourse you change the entire goal for the weapon.

It is heavily recomended that you also figure out a price that satisfies you on your own and it is also impossible to know if a riven mod is good or valuable for someone else because everyone progresses in a different way, it is not a linear path you can guess.

You are free to ignore my advice, altough ignoring basic things such as the modding system will only have 1 possible end, you know this because you're there already and that is why you're strugling to define a price or struggling to find stats that you or others may find appealing

Imo it's because so many people don't actually give advice like you and keep saying "well as high as you want for it. #freemarketbruh", that plus the silly inflation, and people are afraid of not being "as high as possible" or being ripped off etc. Also not many people try out all playstyles so when they come across a riven for a different weapon than the ones they play they don't know how to value it. The game system itself makes rivens for weaker weapons have stronger stats, so it further obscures the way people evaluate rivens. The "right to reroll" for a strong weapon can be worth much more than a great riven for a meh weapon as I have seen. 

For example I got a riven for the Zenistar with +range +status change +electricity the other day. People keep saying the Zenistar is a super awesome weapon, but I am literally half a year away from being able to use it, so I couldn't care less about the mod. I would have sold it for 300p, because while I knew that riven on that weapon is strong, i had no reason to care about using it. Its "personal value" is just 100p. I asked around a bit and sold it for 700p. Pretty reasonable price, and much more than what I would have got otherwise.

EDIT2: Oh and I noticed you also used "price that satisfies you on your own".. No, that doesn't work while buying sadly. This is a game and I cannot comprehend why anyone would sell anything for more than 1k plats. There are already builds that dont make use of rivens.
