Warspire Posted October 13, 2017 Share Posted October 13, 2017 (edited) There may be a workaround. It worked for me, and the guy who told me, but I don't know how widespread it may work. When you log in, start spamming 5 constantly. If you time it right, a fraction before the 'Press 5 for Transferance' window shows, you will see a black screen. Stop pushing 5 and wait .5 of a second for your Operator to load. You are now out of the suit and can walk around, don't dare hit 5 and reenter the suit or you will be back to frozen. I accidentally hit 5 a couple times after the black screen started and I got put back in the suit. Had to alt-f4 and try again. The rest of the quest does not need the suit so just listen to the dialogue and push X on navigation and follow through with the walk up the mountain as the Operator. Good luck all. I hope it is a universal fix for the transferal freeze in the orbiter when Ordis is asking about whether you can walk around or not. I started pushing 5 constantly dispite the sounds once the load screen for War within showed up. Kept pushing while the suit stood, and ordis talked, and then I jumped out. Give it a few tries. They got the job done in the end. but it took a very very long time to even get a reply. I'm hoping that if they have their attention on it, it will go fast.
