Bibliothekar
I have Animal Instinct on my sentinel, and while the loot radar part works just fine, the enemy radar fails to show even guys standing right next to me half of the time.
Miburec
The enemy radar range for Animal instinct is noticeably smaller than its loot radar. Despite that I had this issue even before the PoE update.
LSG501
I'd noticed that enemies weren't showing up before PoE but thought it was just me misjudging distances.... I suppose it is possible it's gained a bug but at the same time the range is tiny when you consider the ranges enemies are attacking from in PoE (it's why I'd like to see a longer range in the plains)
Daiwulf
Plains should have a multiplier in pickup range, radar and some abilities' range (nekros desecrate, ember WoF...). Players and enemies are spread all around camps and getting them into range is hard for some abilities, specially with snipers and flying
Naftal
18m range isn't a lot and I've never felt it was enough alone for anything useful. In poe the minimap shows a bigger area so it'll seem even shorter if you don't pay attention to actual distances. I don't think it's a good idea to increase ranges in poe. The open world map for the first time balances out our OP abilities at least a little bit. You can stack more enemy radar mods or auras in your squad to see further.
