So now there's a 3rd version of Lotus (heard in Fomorian ships).

 

I think I like that one the best.

 

Old Lotus: Good.

Mag/Nova/Rhino Profiles and Raptor Intro: Ick.

New Lotus (Fomorian Ships): Best.

 

Thank you for finding a good middle-ground between IRL Rebecca and In-game Lotus. I can actually understand what she's saying on Fomorian ships and it doesn't sound all garbled up like the 2nd version.

If you want to hear New Lotus, go onto any Fomorian ship. You can't do that, though, until you get a Corrputor. Go to any Infested mission, you should get at least 1. Equip it to a gear slot, jump into a Fomorian Ship and listen to her. Even if you just abort afterwards, you'd at least get to hear her voice.

Fomorian Lotus sounds just right

 

I personally perfer the old Lady Lotus over Robo-Lotus, but the Fomorian one will do nicely in its stead.

I prefer Lady Lotus over the robotic-sounding ones. I personally want Lotus to resemble Cortana in that regard.

I wonder why DE doesn't just deliver all sounds unfiltered and lets those filters get applied clientside. This way everyone could choose which one he likes most.

I do like the Formoian Lotus, much better than that Borg one and sounds better quality than the old one.

i personally dont like any of them. maybe if there is a way to not hear anything at all? i mean, get to the objective i can see that on the map pretty self explanatory. the new lines or voice keeps reminding me about it and im farming, gets pretty annoying real quick. i think its cool to choose which version of voice to choose but also so remove or mute should be an option if this ends up being a thing

(though in the Formorian ships, she talks way too much. cool tell me the objective, sure. but then tell me the same thing every 30 seconds? STAHP IT).

Had the same reaction; especially since the the old dialogue was mixed in with the robo-garble in Raptor's mission (haven't heard it anywhere else).

 

I just thought "called it, she turned evil"

 

And yeah, the new soundbytes loop way too much, particularly on lengthy sabotage missions - a little fluff and flavor is good, but when it loops twice every minute? It's nothing but annoying and distracting, hell, I'd rather listen to a robocall telemarketer after a while. I actually just end up muting speech volume in those.

It is a bit different. It is somewhat like the old Lotus, but yet it is morphed to sound a little deeper and perhaps somewhat computerized.
