Scrat252
So I have been loving the complexity of the newer Warframe, like Octavia, and the verity of combinations and variety of gameplay the add to the ever growing line up. The new improved captura system has given me an idea about a new frame. What if we have a frame that uses image capturing as a means of copying or buffing warframes on your party. Imagine the ability to captura a Warframe in your current party and it use it instantly as a specter. Or save the image to be used again in a solo mission or another match. Or copying the weapons of a frame or enemy to be used by your frame. another idea would be buffing an ally by means of a filter effect like you would have in snap chat XD. The possibilities of a photography Warframe would be endless. Please make this happen devs...I need a photography warframe...🤤
Birdframe_Prime
This probably should be over in the Fan Concepts... Let's see... Aperture, the Photographic Warframe. Passive: Perfect Focus. All of Aperture's abilities have a range of Perfect Focus, and when using an ability on a target in Perfect Focus the effects are greatly strengthened. 1. Polaroid. Aperture creates a projected copy of a target to shield herself. The projection will temporarily provide low level damage reduction and bonus evasion (as enemies will not be able to see the real Aperture beneath the disguise), and if cast at Perfect Focus enemies are completely fooled by the projection and will not attack Aperture until the duration is finished or the projection is broken by Aperture attacking. 2. Snapshot. Taking a snapshot of herself or an ally will create a copy of them, a temporary ally that will fight for her until their time runs out. If taken at Perfect Focus, the Snapshot clone will have 50% bonus stats to health, shields and damage. Casting Snapshot on herself will always create the effects of Perfect Focus. 3. Stereoscopy. Aperture splits the target into two partial images (like Mirage clones) for a duration. Enemies are stunned for a few seconds and each copy has 50% stats of the original, dealing half damage, half health, half armour/shield, etc. Allies are split into two that each deal 50% damage, but take 50% less damage and have bonus evasion. If cast on an enemy in Perfect Focus, the enemy is debuffed to 30% stats, if cast on an ally in Perfect Focus, they deal 75% of their original damage and take 75% less damage. If Stereoscopy is active on a target, casting Snapshot on them will create the snapshot of the split version, meaning that a Snapshot of a Stereoscopic character, both taken at Perfect Focus, will mean that the Snapshot clone deals even more damage. You can also cast Stereoscopy on an existing Snapshot clone. (For reference, if you were to say there's 100 base damage on a weapon per shot, Stereoscopy at Perfect Focus means that the original ally deals two instances of 75 damage, a total 150 damage per shot, then Snapshot at Perfect Focus means the clone deals 75 damage on top of that for 225 damage per shot. The same happens if you do it the other way around, Snapshot clone first, then casting Stereoscopy on the clone. As long as both casts are at Perfect Focus, you get incremental returns. Nice, right?) Casting Stereoscopy on herself will always create the effects of Perfect Focus. 4. Speed Shutter. Aperture flickers in and out of sight, present only in a fraction of each moment, granting her increased movement, melee and reload speed and massive evasion bonuses that stack with Polaroid and Stereoscopy. If all three abilities are active at once her evasion is near total and she becomes nearly impossible to hit with direct projectiles or hitscan. Allies within her Perfect Focus range also gain the bonus effects. Speed Shutter has a short base duration, but can be re-cast before the duration has finished. Thoughts? Leqesai
I remember a mod in minecraft that let you take photos and use them as warp gates. This would be a very cool ability to put in warframe for a photography frame. Take a picture of one side of a room and put it up somewhere else to either fire bullets through or quickly travel. You could have a vacuum type ability where it sucks out the souls of target enemies and can be used to fire a burst of soul energy that varies based on how much is sucked up. Like how cameras work with light aperture.
