CeePee
Heh, I have my moments :> I think it has to do with the way those phases get counted, acrid can land multiple shots and the dot keeps damaging the boss. Edit: had a quick run with macro shooting the acrid at freeze stages, seems there's still a set amount you can damage, but it's higher with Acrid. You can do the same damage with and without macro. Sixty5
I think the reason this works is because he can sorta take damage during the frozen phase, meaning that because of the continuous DOT the Acrid can get one or two ticks of damage in. Rompido
Soma at 9.11 seconds http://i43.tinypic.com/20paemu.jpg There is some slight discrepancy as to when this battle ended. I'm making the claim that the battle was done after 9.11 seconds or possibly even sooner and I hope the images support it. The first shot gets down at 5.472 seconds: http://i39.tinypic.com/2m5cvow.png I don't know if I killed him before he hit me, but it seems like it. I get hit at 14.581 seconds, and it's kinda obvious that I didn't get any more hits on him after that since my ammo counter stopped going down on impact. http://i43.tinypic.com/x4i2qq.png I also felt that I accidentally damaged him to 99%, so I left a little shield on him to start with. Hope that counts. your fine me thinks :D I saw the EXP flash as you where flying backwards so that alone tells me he died.

Sixty5
Nothing will replace the Jav-step........ Lanka on Banshee is 25% more Wubs than I had before. And is 60% more Wubs than standard Javelin GI. Which means that I have more Wubs, and Wubs = skill. 650% extra damage helps too. Also I agree to the runs thing... Ugh. Rompido
I'm going to make a copy of the current records and paste it below. so we all can compare new Vs old records. im about to go ahead and record a new record with my new 165% damage ( serration ) + 105% ( heavy cal mod not maxed yet ) Synapse :D
Rompido
ok I'm not happy at all with the new mod. ( due to my assumption that its bugged right now ) I went ahead and posted in the bugs section. but i'll share it here as well just so you all can see what im talking about. I'm just copy pasting from there so ...... __________________________________________________________________________ new Heavy Caliber mod not working is NOT working / applying its damage to my Synapse. here is a quick clip to show you with and without the new mod. BEFORE MOD http://youtu.be/ABjM9r-mkpQ AFTER MOD http://youtu.be/iZepcOLAs-c http://youtu.be/iZepcOLAs-c before as you can see I was using Bane of grineer granting me 30% more damage to grineer I then swapped to the new mod. hoping to do at 75% more since the new mod currently grants me 105% more damage. and I instead take 1 second LONGER to kill same boss? should be 75% faster. give or take 10% for human error. ________________________________________________________________________________________ which btw comes out to 11.3 seconds Edited October 10, 2013 by Rompido

If it is working as intended it means that the 105% is not added to the base damage, but as treated as separate number like elemental damage. Rompido
so what your saying is 125 base damage * 105% = extra 131.25 damage on the side? hmmm I'm going to test it out right now. will edit this lower part with a video of me showing how my test came out. well crap i have to leave now. and won't be back till friday. so.... basicly what i found is there is more to this than just that. run a test with nothing, then new mod heavy cali, then use serration. you'll see 2 numbers for both. tests with mods. so now im wondering is serration really just base multiplier ? if so then why am i showing 2 numbers ( on HP ) ( yes i know if you hit the shield and your damage makes the shield come off and the rest of the remaining damage lands on HP then it shows 2 numbers one blue one white or yellow ) Edited October 10, 2013 by Rompido
Playur
It appears Magnum Force works the same way as Heavy caliber. Works as seperate damageoutput and does not stack with other mods. *requires more testing Edited October 10, 2013 by Playur

Rompido
well I just got done with a test! one whole day late sorry guys. recorded it to save everyone else the trouble. IT DOES boost the BASE damage of the Latron Prime rifle. but NOT the synpase rifle. !!!! keep your mouse over the pause button I didn't slot enough time in for all the text http://youtu.be/4v2M9umrcKo http://youtu.be/4v2M9umrcKo Description : above is my new detailed ( math included ) video to show how the new Heavy Caliber mod is not working properly with Synapse. I used Latron Prime to compare how Heavy caliber works on it while working differently on Synapse.and before anyone mentions "well Synapse is Electrical base dealing weapon" I want you to know that I'm fully aware. and that is taken into account. Electrical damage deals 1.25x ( any) on lancers. however it still doesn't explain the 2 separate numbers. AND if you noticed, when i used the Synapse without any mods. there was only 1 damage number showing up per 1 round.

You have forgotten to unequip and account for the Rifle amp mod during all the testings but thanks to that I realised that Rifle amp bonus only add additively, not multiplicative. Lancer armor is still 200, not 150. Not really know how Synapse continuous firing works, but why during the slow motion lancer there is a crit 14 without using ammo? Math for the Latron Prime portion Unmod Base Damage = 45 Rifle amp = 27% Lancer Armor = 200 Armor Reduction = 100/(100+200) = 33.33% (Damage number will only do 33.33%) Final Dmg = 45 x 1.27 x 0.3333 = 19.05 With Serration Base Damage = 45 Rifle amp = 27% Serration = 165% Lancer Armor = 200 Armor Reduction = 100/(100+200) = 33.33% (Damage number will only do 33.33%) Final Dmg = 45 x (1+0.27+1.65) x 0.3333 = 43.79 With Heavy Caliber Base Damage = 45 Rifle amp = 27% Heavy Caliber= 105% Lancer Armor = 200 Armor Reduction = 100/(100+200) = 33.33% (Damage number will only do 33.33%) Final Dmg = 45 x (1+0.27+1.05) x 0.3333 = 34.79 With both Serration and Heavy Caliber Base Damage = 45 Rifle amp = 27% Serration = 165% Heavy Caliber= 105% Lancer Armor = 200 Armor Reduction = 100/(100+200) = 33.33% (Damage number will only do 33.33%) Final Dmg = 45 x (1+0.27+1.05+1.65) x 0.3333 = 59.54 Can you give me the damage number of Latron Prime with Rifle amp, Serration, Heavy Caliber and Piercing Hit together so that i can know how the Heavy Caliber affect elemental damage. I LOVE YOU! ( haven't read it yet. because I've had WAY too much to drink to be able to do math right now >.< ) but I promise I will because this issue has been on my mind ALL day. did see you mention Rifle amp! big thanks, I missed that. AND something another player pointed out is.......... 45 damage + 165% = 119.25 or 74.25+45 your math : 45 + 90% serration = 40.5 119.25 vs 175 armor = around 43.3 I forgot to take the total and add it to base for the true total. UGH i fail. but yeah I'll look at all this again when I'm not drunk.
